I am a die hard Ford guy but when it came to getting the new SUV I couldn't get past the interior quality and tech perks of the Jeep vs the Explorer. So far loving the Jeep and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Also getting 20 MPG combined with only 500 miles on it.

Also having the issue of the B pillars peeling back away from body. Having dealer order me all new ones as they are chipped at the top from the dealer applying a vinyl wrap to the roof and window trim (pics below). So far a heat gun and some 3M double sided tape has done the trick to hold them in place. Looks like the factory stuff is 2 very thin strips of double sided tape.

So far have done:
Green Filter High Performance Air Filter
Red Painted Brake Calipers
Lightly Smoked Rear Tail Lights and Reflectors (Painted)
Opt7 LED Fog Lights
18% Tinted Front Windows
Weathertech Cargo Mat
Overland Rear Hatch Badge

The dealer made a mistake and had a company wrap the car prior to me being able to pick it up. I wasn't too happy when the wife and I arrived to drive it home only to be told we had to leave it for the weekend to have the wrap removed. They also scratched it in 2 spots and broke some trim pieces (they are in the process of ordering and replacing all damaged parts) They also painted the mirrors, spoiler and antenna black. Wife and I didn't like the look so had them swapped out from a white Summit so the vehicle is back to stock HA form in that respect. Some pictures for reference in case anyone is thinking of painting their mirror caps, spoiler or antenna black to match the rest of the trim theme.

Pics of my ST just cause (I'm very into the aftermarket scene and enjoy modifying vehicles. Hopefully the wife will let me play with the Jeep as well)

22.5 PSI, 300+HP/about 400 lb ft torque on pump gas

You added the overland badge I see? Also left the tint on the rear fogs? Looks good. Love the OPT7s. Just added them myself.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Had my 2015 Granite Crystal Metallic HA for a week now. Built 10/2015.

3 of my doors have small paint bubbles in the bottom corners. One is busted and missing paint now. Hope the dealer will do me right and fix the issues correctly. Also my seats do not seem to be getting as warm as they were designed and hope it will be an easy fix.

Not off to a great start but will ultimately be up to how the dealer takes care of things.

yikes, i would probably be asking for a whole new vehicle if i found multiple paint issues on it within the first week. The seats don't get as hot as other cars ive had while the steering wheel gets super hot, are the seats not heating up at all or just less then your use too ?

Yeah getting a new one just is not that easy but would be nice. It's small issues and should be easy for a good paint guy to fix.

They get warm but not near as warm as any other vehicle i have.

good luck with the paint, I think the seats are probably working like they were designed and dont heat up like others your use too, my Audi seats have 3 settings and get almost uncomfortably hot, the Jeeps pale in comparison but i guess they just install a weaker heating element. The ventilation however gets pretty cold so that will be nice when it warms up again

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Love this new HA! So much better than the 2013 Altitude we had before this as it has so many more upgrades. Looking into getting the Bora spacers for it...to the guys who already have them...is there any difference (negative or positive) about putting these spacers on? Ride, performance, steering? Does installing them negate any part of your warranty? How about a ballpark purchase/install cost? I think they look awesome on the jeeps in this post and would like to add to mine.

Finally had time to take pictures of my baby.

So far have installed 35% front tint, Sun Tek Clearbra (front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights, door edges), WeatherTech wind deflectors, Mopar Slushmats & Cargo mat.

Coming Soon: Escort 9500ci, LED foglights (?brand?)

Congrats, seems most on here go with either the OPT7 bulbs or Philips Ultinon ones from Xenondepot, I have the Philips and the color is pretty spot on in matching the HID headlights, install was also very easy
