I'll have to tell that one to my brother so he can try that when his kids act up in the back seat. LMFAO...

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Picked up my '16 High Altitude yesterday evening and I'm in love. Came from a '14 Altitude. So I got home and it dawned on me that the SRT Aluminum pedals were not on. I did a google search and realized they were in a small white box in the back. Well I called the dealer and they said they'd install them for me but damn they should have down that already. Did anyone else have this issue?

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Yeah, same here. Install is pretty easy. The gas pedal clips on to the original. The brake is a replacement. Soak it in some hot water to let it give a little bit, because it is a tight fit.

Welcome to the HA club.

Yep - put them on myself - get some hot water and soap, brake pedal was a struggle but finally got them on.

I think I'll just have the dealer do them for me, I have to back to pick up my glasses that I left in the old jeep.

Bringing back an old post for all the new HA owners. Cool cheap mod to make the overland stick out.

I had put the MOPAR version(PN 82212055) on the pedals my 2014 overland. The brake pedal was a nightmare to put on, and probably took me an hour using soap and hot water and a lot of finagling with a screw driver. My 2015 came with a Chrysler version and the brake pedal slipped right on without much fuss. Took all of 5 minutes verses probably an hour for the MOPAR version. The tolerances on the Chrysler version(PN 1PH25DX9AA) are definitely looser.

I always go with extended warranty that my bank offers. Their prices are extremely lower and some dealerships will match it.

After reading your post I went out and looked at mine, sure enough ugly old rubber pedals... looked in back compartment and they were there in the box. Just put them on, looks much better ...Thank you

So wait...because I got mine with the pedals installed already. Do these sit on top of the rubber pedals or you remove the rubber first?

I wouldn't go with any third party contract, personally...too many horror stories and scams out there. I'm not saying your bank is like that, but I'll stick with extended service contracts from the manufacturer. And with the exception of folks in Florida, the Mopar MaxCare contracts can be had at just over cost from a variety of authorized dealers who will sell online.
