2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Anyone have any braking issues? I really feel like my pedal has too much travel before it stops the car. I have to get my pedal a good 2-3 inches into the floor to stop. Drove a new charger while out of town and you barely had to press the brake to get it to stop.

Had in the dealer once before and they changed the master cylinder but I feel like that didn't help much.

Are the grand brakes squishy?

I have owned and driven many WK2s and the brakes feel great with no excessive pedal travel. The pedal travel on every WK2 I have driven felt basically identical to any other car I have driven.

Thanks for that. Not sure I feel 100% safe as is. Going in today for my backup camera that died. Maybe they will be up to tackling the brake issue for good this time

Mine definitely felt soft when I first got it. I had a 2014 overland before my HA and the HA definitely had a mushy brake pedal. It seems the pedal firmed up after the automatic braking system kicked in a few times. Now it seems fine.

On my old WK2 I had brake pedal problems. You could hear a hissing sound when pressed.

Had the dealer check, it was a bad master cylinder.

Hey y'all just purchased one of these hogs - first jeep for me too

Question: Has anyone changed their rims? I really like the Spider Monkey rims that Summit's have, minus all the chrome

Great question -

I was thinking of putting winter tires on my black 20's and getting some rims i really like.. i assume SRT's don't fit because those look legit

I'd love to see more pictures of your 22's - how much clearance do you get?

SRT replicas should fit. Clearance is fine, no issues. It's not lowered so it's OK. here's another pic. I have a bunch more on instagram if you are on.
