From my understanding, the "eyeball" looking thing near the lower front bumper is the radar sensor for adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning. The things you see near the mirror on the windshield I believe would be for the auto high beams and rain sensing wipers.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Interesting benefit of shifter recall. I got into my car, unfolded mirrors, closed door (I thought), started engine, shifted to drive just prior to buckling up and stepped on gas. I still hadn't buckled seatbelt. The car became in Park. Hmm, I thought. This happened three times before i realized my door wasn't completely closed. Wow! I closed the door and buckled up and all was fine. I think this is a good thing.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I've had both and Gorilla look 100 times better. I ordered the McGard first, but when I received them in the mail, they looked like a weird shiny metallic black color and were smaller so they looked weird. I then ordered the Gorilla and they are a much better color match. They actually look like normal black paint. They are also bigger in diameter so they file the hole and seat way better than the McGard. I used the same lug wrench to remove the factory silver lugs. So I say Gorilla.

These are the McGard that I didn't like:

These are the Gorilla that I have on my Jeep now:

Obviously, you failed to do your homework. The McGard 64072 look exactly like the OEM, except in black. Perfect fit, etc. I still insist they are the way to go. They are the closest match to original that I have found, but in black.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

^^^those don't look like the original lugs that came on my 2015 HA. Mine look larger and have a flat end.
I have Gorilla lugs on mine and they are identical to the originals. I wonder if some Jeeps came with different style lugs or something.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Hey...You're right. They are not identical. It's hard to tell from the photo, but they are the same size as original with a slightly different disk-like on the end. I do like that they are USA made and the same 22mm.

Are the 2015 lug nuts different than the 2016? When I clicked on the link and put in 2016 Grand Cherokee it said it didn't match. When I changed it to 2015 it did match. I have a 2016 just want to make sure I get the right ones?

No they gotta be the same. Nothing changed as far as that goes.
