Does any one own a 2015 high altitude that came with the correct arm rest?

The 2016 high altitudes for sale on cars.com look to be correct.
Mine came with the correct black stitched leather center arm rest. I have a late build (Dec. 17) 2015 white HA. Mine might have been one of the last off the line. I've found that many of the later builds have the correct arm rest.

does anyone have a photo of the differences? Is it just the white stitching?
Is it limited to certain years?

Then they must have started the problem over fresh with the 2016 HA's... I've seen a couple with the white stitched console arm rest, and right around the same build dates as mine.

You gotta go back and dig through this thread. I know there are a lot of pages, but the arm rest discussion was pretty lengthy several pages ago with plenty of pictures as well. Very noticeable differences of feel, look, and quality. If yours has the wrong arm rest, I would highly suggest working on getting the correct one. It's so much nicer I would have even bought it had my dealer not helped me.

Really happy I found this H.A. Edition. I came out of a 2014 Limited Ecodiesel. It was a long and complicated decision making process on the diesel vs the hemi. Had some issues with the emissions etc on the 2014. Also the only White Ecodiesel H.A. Was over 500 miles away. Very happy with the brisk throttle response of the V8 vs the diesel. Do not watch the gas mileage readings anymore :-).

I am working on a tow hook solution for the High Altitude and Summit. (See my earlier post just a day ago.

Great seeing everyone's pics and comments.

So did your running boards require any special mods to fit your HA or were they able to bolt right on?

How do you remove the center console arm rest cover to determine if it's leather of vinyl?

When you open the console lid (arm rest) you will see at the rear where it hinges open, a plastic snap on cover. Just pry it off and you will see three screws holding the assembly on. Remove these screws, being careful not to drop any into the recesses, and the arm rest with the hinge will wiggle off. On the bottom of the hinge onmine which was vinyl with white stitching there was a label stating VINYL.
The replacement has a label stating Leather.

Ima take a look tonight - question, if it is vinyl are they entitled to change it to leather free of charge?

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

If you own a High Altitude, the window sticker and build sheets clearly state Leather Center Arm Rest with Black Stitching. So, I would say you are entitled to the correct part.

It should be free under warranty. Only obstacle is if your dealer's service manager is worthless like mine is and can't be bothered to help you.

In that case, go talk to the new car sales manager or the owner.
