I am also interested in your experience with the Corsa exhaust. Had you used Corsa product before or was this based on the few reviews and sound clips you have heard?

Oh yeah, and congrats on the new ride. I came from a black Limited Ecodiesel and I am really happy with the hemi and the sportier performance. Love the White!

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I'll get a sound clip soon. Installation was a pain, but what exhaust system isn't. Had to use the Corsa polished tips... The black oval tips can't be mounted to the pipe, as they are swivel-fit joints. Corsa system fits perfectly, and was fairly easy to square up. The sound is hard to explain. You can here the Hemi, but just sounds different than any other system. A buddy of mine said it sounded more exotic than a regular Hemi, more European. Get compliments everywhere I go, both on sound and colorImageUploadedByJeepGarage1473181526.456915.jpg

I saw the Mopar CAI - would you recommend?

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I started a thread yesterday... Anyone know how to get the SRT8 tranny shift program? Want to get a little faster response when in sport and manual mode...

I read a lot of reviews, and talked to several people that had this system. Only complaint was price. Heard lots of complaints about other systems - too loud, droning, poor fitting, etc.

Hated to spend that much, but I figured I already dropped a load into it, why cheapen it with anything but the best. Not one regret...ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1473182055.043122.jpg

I see you have single exhaust tip. How is your system different from what Corsa advertises as sport system designed for summit?

I have a 2016 HA. Maybe the lower rear fascia is different? With the flat wide exhaust tips? Like summit.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I did have the flat wide, black oval tips. Based on the specs, I was planning on reusing the factory tips. When I ordered the system (I believe 14941), the sport system, it comes with single tips. It wasn't until I started disassembly until I found the factory tips were swivel jointed, and wouldn't match up with the muffler output. If it weren't for that, the Corsa system exits at the perfect position and placement to mount the tips. I am talking to a buddy who owns a shop about cutting off the swivels, and welding up the correct pipe to put the factory tips back on.

That's correct...the HA has the Summit fascias.

I was more questioning whether the 2015 was the same as the 2016 at the rear, with the flat exhaust tips. After researching myself I see yes they did. I had seen, as pictured in my above post that Corsa made and exhaust package with duel tips to fill in the wider lower body exhaust tip exit area. But in Mrcleanohio's pic he had single tip exhaust by Corsa, was just interested in why. I believe he got a different exhaust model. Is that right Mrcleanohio?

I have a 2016 HA

By the way, just letting everyone know. Myself and a fabricator in Ohio came up with a front tow point / recovery hook(ring) for the Summit front lower fascia. I have posted about it in earlier writings.

Here is a pic.
