The HA is the model I was looking at but that boat may have sailed since it doesn't look like they are coming out with them in 2017.

Did you get a v6? Come from a 5.7 Durango? Curious to here your thoughts on this if you did since those durangos had 5 speed transmissions and these 8 speed.

Thanks
My 2007 Durango had the Hemi, but when I traded it in 2011 the gas prices were outrageous AND I wasn't pulling anything so I just went with the V6. I stayed with the V6 when I bought the 2014 and my new Jeep also has the V6.

I really haven't noticed a big difference between the Durango and Jeep in driving (yet), but I've only had the Jeep for 2 days now. I do think that the Jeep seems to have a little more power, although I'm not sure why since they both weigh about the same and have the same engine.

I do enjoy the 4wd capabilities of the Jeep, but I wouldn't have even tried some of those things with my Durango. Too worried about knocking off a body panel sitting low to the ground, but with the Jeep I can jack it up a little bit before I go offroad.

It's the type that was on the 2010 model. The 2011 to current Overland badge is more of a light grey/tan and chrome. The Overland badge I got is gloss black and chrome and more prominent and goes better on a High Altitude in my opinion.
That looks awesome!

Is this what you ordered?

I think you should put a Citadel badge on it.

Here are some pictures of my 2014 Citadel (as the salesman was driving away) and my new 2016 JGC HA.

That is not the correct part number.

The part number I got is 55156590AA
I got it from a Jeep dealer on amazon

send an email to rebadge@yahoo.com - his name is Nathan. Pretty quick turnaround I assume since he made the proofs for me. Can probably change the colors too, Black and Gray to match your jeep.

Honestly, they are the same vehicle off the same assembly line. The primary differences are 5" more wheelbase on the Durango and some differences in drive train as you've noted.

I've heard before, however I hope the Jeep has better 4WD performance. My '14 Durango failed miserably the only time I really needed its AWD.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

So, primarily because my wife hasn't stopped griping about her difficulty climbing up into my HA, even in easy entry mode, I bought and installed Romik RAL-B running boards. Now she's complaining about the step up causing her to hit her head on entering the car! If I didn't have so much vested in keeping her, I think I would trade HER in on a Stepford Wife type.
