Guess you should've taken her with you when you were shopping for it to get her but in. Or, you married the wrong kinda woman. My JGC sits lower than my wife's Ram. Lol

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Couple pics of the Mopar Rock Rails and 18" rims installed my 2015 JGC Overland HA Edition if anyone is interested to see how it looks installed. Also have skid plates added, windows, tail lights tinted. Not close to done with the mods yet buy my bank account needs a break Only part I really hate about the HA edition is the front lower 'summit' fascia, probably going to just get the Chief parts eventually and completely remove it but its a major $$ change.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Does anyone have a recommendation for roof rails and rack for a 2016 HA? Mine came with "dummy" rails and I guess I need to buy everthing. Love the truck otherwise. Thx.

I heard we don't need additional 'rails'
just cross bars that fit.

Whispbar makes crossbars that work with our low profile roof rails.

You need this (#8050112):
Roof Rack Flush Bars | Whispbar

And the fit kit (#8051624):
SmartFoot Roof Rack Fitting Kit | Whispbar

Holy bejesus. I'm also interested in a roof rack, but I hope there's a more affordable option than that! I might use it like 1 or 2 times, so I definitely don't want to spend that kind of money.

Those are the only ones I'm aware of that work with the low profile rails. Unless you're willing to switch the low profile rails out for regular rails, its your only option. Both are tough on the wallet unfortunately.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I checked with my dealership and unfortunately, new rails and cross bars cost about the same. The whisper cross bars/fitting kit look like they'd fit any roof, i.e. naked roof, low profile rails, etc. I'm not sure if I'd have to remove the low profile (factory?) rails or not to install, but they look nice. Thanks for the help!! I used to use the rear window hatch on my 2008 GC to fit 2x4's....miss that std feature.

2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

I just ordered the Whispbar for my HA. Made the mistake of buying the Thule removable roof rack setup and powder coating it black before testing it on my vinyl wrapped HA. Needless to say, after my maiden voyage with the kayaks this past weekend, my wrap and PPF is starting to bubble where the rack was clamped on. Hoping the whispbar works out and that I can recoup some of my Thule rack cost on eBay.
