2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

2016 HA w/ HK sound
Mods since I bought it 3 weeks ago:
-Gloss Black Avery vinyl cockpit wrap
-Trivalent chrome window trim delete
-Vinyl wrapped door handles and side mirrors
-High temp 3M reflective caliper vinyl (black during the day and reflects white light)
-Gorilla lock nuts
-Thule roof rack powder coated blk (ordered Yakima whispbar and selling the Thule)
-Green chrome nitro valve caps
-PPF on roof/front

Next thing I'm considering is vinyl wrapping the grille, but I'm not sure yet.

By pasting the image properties in the address bar they do show up'

I'm not sure I would want the high contrast two tone, but it is unique and well done!

Thanks for the help!! I used to use the rear window hatch on my 2008 GC to fit 2x4's....miss that std feature.

No need to remove the dummy black plastic rails. Remember to buy the k624 fitting kit and it will fit perfect with the S25 whispbar.

I too ordered the Yakima set... I'll post pics and install when I get them this week.

Unfortunate for me I sold Thule set for about 70% of total cost. Don't make that mistake, with Yakima you get to keep the black dummy rail and have a flush low profile look.

Okay definitely was looking at the right ones - what threw me for a loop were the "arms" to grab onto the frame - wasn't expecting that

I ordered the S25 from REI too. Ordered on Sunday night and it's out for delivery today. Too bad they they were all out of the K624 fitting. I ordered that off of Amazon and am waiting until tomorrow night.

I'm hoping to install everything either tomorrow night or on Thursday to make sure it works before I take the crossbars in to be powder coated gloss blk. I'll post pics as well when I'm done.

Thanks mellow22 for sharing the install video link.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Just put on the Yakima Whispbars and they look so much better. Now I just need to decide if I want to get the Whispbars powder coated and PPF'd 🤔

Anyone want to buy a brand new gloss black powder coated Thule Removable Aeroblade Roof Rack? Lol
