Kirby, look into Ripp Mods Superchargers. When we started our journey we originally were to have a 3.6 so I was going to add that.

A CAI was along the lines of what I was thinking too. Not crazy expensive but a little bump in power and fuel efficiency with a little growl on the side. So not much difference in power, but have you had any better gas mileage or notice any better performance with the CAI?

I don't really notice much of a gain in mpg's but I literally put on the CAI after 1 week of having the jeep and I drive with a lead foot so I knew that any gain would be negligible. I'm sure there's a tiny bit of HP gain somewhere in the upper rev range but for daily driving your not going to get much other then some more growl from the engine

No more power with CAI. No more mileage with CAI. Very much more "sound" with CAI. The OEM intake is pretty efficient already.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

So I'm a huge fan of the LED DRLs, front turn signals, tail lamps. And then they put in regular brake/turn signal lights?? I'm switching out the fogs to LED and wanted to match. Anyone converted their brake lights to LED?

Another '15 HA V6. Got it on 12/31, kind of an impulse buy. Loving it so far.

And my other ride:

Check out the interior/exterior/visual section, couple threads in there on retrofitting LED kits into the housings and then another on a full taillight housing swap

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

In July of 2015 I picked up a Black Altitude, did a few small mods to it and I really thought I loved that Jeep, than a few months later I start seeing the High Altitude and I am pissed because as much as I love my black altitude there is something about the High Altitude that I really like. Not much I can so though because I am 3 months into a 3 year lease. My wife starts complaining about how her ford explorer is way over the miles and she wishes she could get out of the lease so I ask her if she wants to drive my altitude and she does and she loves it. I take her 15 explorer to the jeep dealership and at first they wanted to rape me on the deal for a new White High Altitude V6, HK audio, 4x4, but once I left and went to a second dealership down the road they ended up calling me back and giving me the deal I wanted. So now I have a brand new white High Altitude, tinted windows, waiting on Bora Spacers and Black Lug Nuts to come in, other than that I am going to vinyl wrap the chrome trim on the windows, tint all the tail lights and maybe a COI. I really did and still do like the black Altitude but the HA, IMO is so much nicer both in looks and in the ride. Anyways a big Thank you to this thread which I read over at least 15 times and gave me the push to sell my wife on taking my altitude so I could go get the HA. One last question, it looks so much meaner when its down in Park Mode, is there anyway to keep the suspension that low even when driving, I know you can do Sport Mode/Aero but its still not as low as park mode.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Thank you and I would agree. I never thought I would do the husband/wife, black and white matching vehicles but in this case I just couldn't help it.
