This may be a stupid question but I am noticing when looking for an aftermarket exhaust, including videos on YouTube, the rear exhaust is rounded. I have a 2015 high altitude but the rear bumper has a rectangular shape where the stock tips are. Why is mine different? How would an aftermarket exhaust look when my cutouts are not round? I do have a V8, is that the difference?

Thanks
Nic

The High Altitude uses the Summit fender flares, side skirts, front and rear bumpers and rectangular exhaust tips. Engine has nothing to do with this.

You could always add rectangular tips to an aftermarket exhaust.

Gotcha...Thanks for your reply. I'm sure I can now find Summits with an aftermarket exhaust to see what it looks like with rounded tips. I believe Corsa makes one with 2 tips on each side, filling the gap.

A muffler shop could cut off your factory tips and add them to your new exhaust.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! The HA exhaust tips are merely clamped on. Easily removed from the pipes. No cutting necessary.

Anyone here have any exhaust suggestions for the v6. Would love a deeper sound. Looks like magnaflow makes one for the v6 with the dual tips to fit the opening. Anyone have it on their HA?

Replace the OEM suitcase and get an xpipe or a single chamber magnaflow...

Search for exhaust threads, some have pics and videos

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Hello everyone. I just got my 15' V8 HK 4x4 in White today. Very excited and ready to do some things to it. I know there has been a couple of posts on this but I cant seem to find brand or model numbers so please forgive me.
1. Black lug nuts. I would like the name and model number that most people use
2. Can HK sub be swapped out for a different sub with more bass?
3. I would like to change all interior lights to LED. I know they sell entire kits so if anyone knows model number of kit that would be helpful.
4. Which CAI is the best to get? and does it really make a difference.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Anyone change out their two interior lift gate lights to bright white LEDs? Brand and part number or place to find them?

Re: 2015-2016 High Altitude Owners Thread

Just changed everything with this kit. The back lift gate was easy.
