Yup. Also, if you put it into Sport mode, it drops to Aero even if you are just at a stoplight. In normal Drive mode, it will return from Aero once you get under a certain speed. In Sport, it always stays Aero.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I'm afraid of going to test drive one of these HAs...I might be tempted to make a purchase even though I still love my 2014 overland hemi.

Yes, the High Altitudes have a "sport tuned" air suspension (quadra-lift). So just like the Overland and Summit they will lower to aero height at 53 mph and above, or at all times in sport mode. Then if selected will drop to entry/exit height when placed in park. I like the handling and overall ride of my HA MUCH more than my Summit.

Well not exactly, if you want to get technical not all 14+ Grand Cherokees do that. All 14+ Grand Cherokees equipped with quadra-lift do that

You could change that 14+ to 11+ and be even more accurate.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

My dealer didn't install the metal pedals that are supposed to be included in the HA package. I just put them on myself as the box was in the back. Interesting thing though, when I put these pedals on my Overland, it was a nightmare. The brake pedal was such a tight fit, it took me an hour. I think there are threads on it. They have appeared to change the part number, and the brake pedal just slides right on with minimal effort. The scary thing is the brake pedal cover now slides back and forth at least an 1/8". Do you guys notice the same with yours? The part number on the box is 1PH25DX9AA which appears to be correct for 2012-2015 grand cherokees. It appears to be chrysler part instead of mopar. It is different than the part I bought before which was Mopar 82212055.

You could, but since we're being technical, the '11-'13 models do not have the auto entry/exit mode ;-) you have to manually press the lower button to drop them to entry/exit mode. I have also heard that some very early built '14 models do not have that either.

Yes, installing that brake pedal is an absolute nightmare. I didn't know there was a different part number for one that just slides on. If it makes a difference I have a very recent built High Altitude (Dec 2015 mfg date) and it had the nightmare brake pedal kit with part number 82212055 included. Dealer didn't install them they were still in the box in the back so I did it myself. Once it's on though it's very snug.

.

Yea, I was just referring to aero mode activating when sport mode is selected, but thanks for the additional information about the air ride in different WK2 model years.

Strange - I have a late November build date and mine came with the other part #. They must have added another supplier. I'm a little surprised they have so much play in them. I figure they need to be tight for a reason.

OVERLAY KIT. Brake and Accel Pads. [XAR]. Accelerator Pedal for JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE (2012 - 2015). #1PH25DX9AA
