@JTS97Z28 Did you keep your DiY lowering links from your summit, and will you be installing them on your new HA? I've been researching links as I want to remove the rear rake we have.

You might have me confused with someone else as I never had lowering links installed on my Summit. Funny enough though I'm gonna try them on the rear of my new HA. Infact the parts just showed up on my doorstep a little bit ago. I am making my own based on the DIY on this forum. Very easy to do and costs less than 40 bucks. I couldn't justify spending $200-300 from adjustableairride. I will make the links tomorrow morning and install right away. Great thing is it literally takes 2 minutes to change the links. Pop old ones off and pop the new ones on. Completely reversible if wanted and fully adjustable to the height of your preference. I will be doing only the rear for now. More or less just leveling it.

Wow, congratulations to everyone in this thread with a HA model. I'm so tight right now, I can't believe you can get the HID's and The Hemi now. That's a slap in the face, a kick in the groin, and a racial slur.

I have a set of the links from AAR on the way, I have an appt to have them installed on Wednesday, I'll take some pics of the process (heard it's very easy) and post them up

Very nice, will do the same when I get mine. However I will be removing the 4*4 though.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I'm still in the honeymoon phase but I really love my HA. Blows my traded '10 Cadillac sport wagon out of the water in many ways. I was struggling, V6 vs V8. Hemi all the way! No regrets! Love the hemi sound and torque. Mpg is reasonable especially with MDS. I wanted max steel (not a HA color), settled on granite and ended up with billet. Silver has its benefits but this is more battleship grayish to me which I really like. ACC rules! Auto high beams was an added bonus. I like the multitude of functions/buttons incorporated into the steering wheel. UConnect works. iPhone integration at its best. I also appreciate having the option to turn some settings on or off. Cabin is approx. 10db quieter than my prior Caddy. I'm in the "so over chrome" crowd and happy about the color matched handles, side view mirrors, etc. Although I don't mind chrome wheels, black is easier to maintain. I think the hitch cover was a nice touch. Before my purchase, I was whole-heartedly against the shifter. I thought it looked awkward and from what I read, was certain I would hate it. Quite the opposite. I love it! I don't always get it right but it feels good. Quick flip down to sport n away I go. 2 firsts for me, I told the dealer not to install the front license plate (shhhh) and not detail it. Very happy about that. I am an avid detailer and my paint is as close to flawless as you can get with little to no work.

What would I like to see improved? Well, of course nothing is perfect. A couple of things that come to mind which certainly aren't deal breakers. Auto climate should continually work until the fan speed is manually changed and not if the air flow direction is. Floor hvac should be just that, floor only. Another steering wheel stock for front/rear wipers would be cool. Mist is awkward to initiate quickly. Wood steering wheel should probably be standard to complete the interior look. Lastly, maybe even more flexibility/combinations in terms of the screens on the DIC.

I hope for many years of Jeep enjoyment!

Ahh man it pains me to hear someone hear is paying to have them installed. It's so easy I wish I could save you money and say just do it yourself. Just lay on the ground, pop the arm off and pop the new one back on. No tools required and would take 5 minutes.

What? Are you think of the Altitude? That's different than the High Altitude.

It's a friends shop so won't cost me anything to install

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Saw earlier in this thread someone changed out their reverse lights for LED. Gonna do that to my HA along with the brake lights. Was gonna order the same bulbs as this thread but was wondering if anyone else has done the reverse lights and more importantly if you need resistors with these particular bulbs? Said there were no error codes but didn't say if needed resistors.
