It's amazing how much better the HA looks just by moving the wheels out to be flush with the body panels. This looks sharp!

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Was finally able to drop my HA off at the dealer Monday for the paint and heated seats problems. Will let everyone know how it goes when I get it back. Really hope they are able to fix the seats and not screw me on the paint issues.

I went out driving in the blizzard in my Summit and was in OR1 most of the time. Lots of unplowed streets where only 1-2 vehicles had driven through and plenty of plow banks I had to attempt to drive over. Got stuck 3 times on plow mounds and had to lift it up to OR2 and still dig the snow out from underneath because I was high centered.

Oh, and if you get stuck in the snow, turn off traction control. That kept me from getting unstuck a few times because it would cut power as soon as the wheels started spinning.

Nice - another local-ish guy. I live in Portland, couldn't get Rairdon to respond to any of my inquiries - and their prices were 'meh' at best. In the end, I bought my HA from Harbor Jeep. Helluva drive from Portland, but the way they did business, and the money I saved it was well worth it. I was able to get them well below the two other Portland dealerships I worked with; albeit, only one of them had the white one I wanted, but even the silver one they weren't going to get me that price.

Don't get your hopes up in regards to the seats. I took mine in on Saturday and they stated that 'the seats warm up as designed and that the newer models don't get as hot as the older models'.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Got my HA in the dealer getting the brake master cylinder replaced. Brakes have been super soft since day one. Glad they are replacing something. Hope this helps.

Me too. Mid-November build date. Let me know if that helps. Between the soft brakes, off center steering wheel, weak heated seats, laggy uconnect, bad gasmileage, sluggish engine and slow shifts, I'm regretting getting rid of my 2014 overland.

Got mine in Tacoma. Great place. $7100 off MSRP

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Some of these HAs seem to have a few issues I see.

Literally sitting at dealer as I type this response. I brought my HA in for an oil change and having them look at the heated seats. The tech said that Chrysler lowered the power of the heated seats because apparently they got sued or complaints of seats burning.

Of course, with the current heated seats, they may as well not even offer them as they get lukewarm at best. I mean I have to concentrate to tell if they are even on with the high setting. I can't tell if they are even heated or it is just my body heat / farts warming the seat. There is like zero transfer of heat from the seat to driver imho.

Hopefully, they get enough complaints to fix this issue as I feel kind of ripped off in this regard.

My HA has been great other than the heated seats. Zero issues to report. 6000 miles now.

haha this is my exact train of thought. I've tried putting my hand over the seat when it's on and feel the faintest bit of air coming though, but really the warmest the seat gets seems to be the same temp as what my body would heat the seat to.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Sounds like more farts will be needed in the seats for that warm soothing feel that is being sought after in these HAs.....😂😂😂😂
