Didn't help much. At least I know it's been checked through. Still have to press the pedal pretty far to stop. Replaced the master cylinder and bled brakes.

Of course, with the current heated seats, they may as well not even offer them as they get lukewarm at best. I mean I have to concentrate to tell if they are even on with the high setting. I can't tell if they are even heated or it is just my body heat / farts warming the seat. There is like zero transfer of heat from the seat to driver imho.

Hopefully, they get enough complaints to fix this issue as I feel kind of ripped off in this regard.

My HA has been great other than the heated seats. Zero issues to report. 6000 miles now.

Strange only the HA people are complaining?

I'm happy with the heated seats on my HA. Steering wheel is still not hot enough even after a TSB was done to increase the heat.

Seems that people on this forum have only been buying HAs though.

Interesting... I feel my steering wheel is plenty hot while my seat is not at all.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

So dealer said there was a TSB for the heated seats.

They installed it and I can say that the seats are much warmer than before. Driving from the dealer, they almost started to get too warm. I wouldn't say they are the hottest heated seats, but definitely an improvement from before.

Unfortunately, they didn't take a baseline reading before installing the TSB on the seats, so I can't say how much of an improvement. The temp reading now though was 101 degrees Fahrenheit which they claim is the spec for the seats.

Previously, I couldn't even tell if they were on. Leaving the dealer, my nuts got a little toasty and for the first time I actually could feel heat on my back. After a while, I felt the seat was a little too warm.

My heated steering wheel almost gets too hot.

Off topic, but saw a 2016 Summit with Platinum Package. Looked really nice. Had the new 2016 shifter in it.

Another interesting thing was the dealer had three High Altitudes in the showroom - billet, red, white. They definitely got a lot of attention. None of the other chromed out jeeps in the showroom now. Just thought it was interesting given when I bought mine, the chromed Overlands and Summit seemed to be front center in showroom. Even the other model cars down played the chrome.

What TSB? Can you post a pic of your service print out? Was it just software?

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

It appears the flashed something related to the heated seat module.

Whatever they did, it worked.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Portland JGC HA owner here as well. Dealer said my heated seats were to spec, but as others mentioned, it doesn't ever get warm. The best description I've heard is that you have to focus on whether it is making an impact or not.

On the picture above, was here a specific TSB? I'd like to take it back in.

Also, is anyone else experiencing it hanging gears periodically via 1st, 2nd, and sometimes third? Very annoying. I haven't driven an automatic trans in decades that has this issue.

Other issues I'm observing are significant rattles in the door panels. Going back in soon to have them secure more factory ignored wiring harnesses.
