Back on topic: Has anyone tried to install the step bars on a HA?
I have not installed any side steps on my HA, but the Mopar tubular side steps will NOT fit on the HA. I contacted Mopar directly and gave them my Vin # and they confirmed that the steps are not compatible with the HA model.

There are other aftermarket side step options for you that will fit the HA.

Nice! Bought some Trimbrite Blackout Tape from Pep Boys to try and do the same when I finally pick up my HA sometime this year. Got it on sale, so went ahead and stocked up.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Got my HA in November. Build date October. While I am in Boca Raton, the them got down to the 40's and I tried the seat heaters. Hmmm Not so hot. I'm going to check with the dealer about TSB's mentioned here. I travel north quite a bit and Chevy and Ford rentals get much hotter. Being from So. Florida, I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to cold and love warm seats.

I have the black Mopar tube steps on my 15' HA... the dealer had pre-installed them, and I can confirm that they fit. I actually did not want them but wanted the options that the particular HA had. Now that I have them, I actually like the look and they help my 3-year old son get in and out of the car easier.

Your HA looks great, however I must really compliment your garage floor!! LOVE it! I bought my house new in 2012 and unfortunately I couldn't grasp how much it would have cost to have my 3 car done professionally :-( I ended up doing it myself using one of the higher quality DIY kits and although its fine for a garage floor, it certainly doesn't look like yours. We are considering relocating and if my next house doesn't already have the floor professionally done, I am going to just suck it up and have it done right!

It looks amazing in these pics right after I did it, but it no longer looks this glossy, and little "craters" formed everywhere as I was applying it because apparently my floor was still "out gasing". I didn't use enough flakes either, and the worst part about the floor is it literally turns into an ice skating rink when its wet and thats even with flakes and grit additive. I'll get it done right next time!

Sorry to get off topic, now that I think about it, maybe I will start a "garage" thread in a general section.

I too used the DIY kit on my floor a few years ago and added "Shark Grip" because of previous experiences with the slippery epoxy/paint mixtures.
I also opted not to use the sprinkles because im not really a sprinkles guy.
Anyway mine is definitely not looking as pretty as when I first applied and have a quote to get it done professionally. Hopefully I can get it done this summer.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Thanks! I've been very happy with the flooring. It keeps up nice without a ton of maintenance. I went with a company called Premier Garage, did the smaller 1/8" chip. They seem to go heavy on the chips, as opposed to most installations. They also use a polymer product as opposed to epoxy, which might make a difference on maintaining the look.

Obviously the flooring looks nicer with the HA on it!

Great, thanks for the pics! I have the chrome step bars now, I believe they are the same dimensionally so they should fit too.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Interesting to see how the prices change on things between the years. For the heck of it I looked at the dealer that I just bought my '15 HA V6 HK audio from and they have the exact same thing, but '16 in stock. Maybe I should have waited ;-)
But anyway, looking at the sticker my base price is $46,595 on my 2015, the 2016 is $47,196. 2015 HK audio was a $795 options, now its $995. The High Altitude package remains unchanged. not a huge difference, but just thought I would share.

Great looking garage!
Probably can't get the same rebates I'm guessing on the 16. For the few changes they made in happy with the 15 HA.
