Let me know how that goes. Especially around the corners. I tried using 3m vynil and had a really hard time around the corners

Had my trim wrapped earlier this week. Love how it looks on the HA.

Whatever they did, it worked.

I'm sitting in the Jeep service Dept cause I thought I'd get the heated seat thing looked at. I showed the service guy this pic of your flash you had done and he said he needed more info.... Not sure if you have any more info about that flash you had done? Seems like plenty of info on that receipt you took a pic of... Anyways, they are gonna take a look at it. Are your heated seats still working? Everything else on my rig is great. Thanks for the info!

Wow that looks great. Any chance you can give me a couple more up close shots? I guess what I am looking for are pics of the corners like in front of the mirrors or the one on the rear most window. I attempted to wrap the trim myself and honestly, I don't even see how a professional could do these parts and make them look perfect. The curves, rounded edges, and the fact that they butt up against rubber stripping just seems like there would be no way to make it look OEM quality.
Looking up closely how does it look especially in these difficult areas.
Did you just call any vinyl shop, or who specifically does this kind of work.

With all that said, does anyone know of a good shop in the Chicago suburbs, specifically Naperville area that deals with wrapping?

Thanks for any additional info.

Kind of surprised a dealer would even need that info. You would think they can get into their computers and easily find any software updates that pertain to a specific vehicle. In other words, if one dealer could find info on this very specific issue, then why couldn't another one? Dealers are so difficult to deal with sometimes

My dealer just plugs something in to my car and it shows them all the updates it needs.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I can take some closer pics later today. I found a shop in Denver that had recently done a few window trim wrap jobs on HA's so I used them. They did great quality work as you can tell.

I actually used to live in Chicago and I had a guy wrap my last car in my driveway. He drove out to my house and did the whole project while I worked. He did great work too. His contact info is slipping my mind but I can try and look it up for you.

Yes, that is absolutely correct, however that is for updates. This MIGHT be different simply because there technically isn't anything wrong per-se, but would go under more like a TSB thing. If a customer comes in with a complaint the heated seats aren't working good enough, then they might have to do some digging around on their own. That still doesn't explain though why they cant just easily look it up. Easy enough..."2015 high Altitude heated seat temperature low". I could probably find it on the internet in 30 seconds.

That would be much appreciated and I look forward to seeing more pics. Like I said, just a closeup of a corner like the one in front of the mirror. I want to see just how good they are able to get those rounded and curved edges up against rubber stripping.

Unfortunately, I don't have any more information. I did notice if you plug in the number where it says OLD, it is the heated seat module. I google searched for the new number, but couldn't find anything. to my knowledge, nothing was changed. They just flashed the computer or something.

I'd say the seats are warmer. Still no where near what I'd expect them to be but they seem warmer than before. It is hard to say though as I don't know if I am just paying attention more than previously.

Here's some closer pics of the wrap job. Tried to show the corners and under/around the mirror. Let me know if you want any other angles.

Whoever did that did a great job because it looks perfect. I tried myself and couldn't do it so I ended up painting mine. Which came out great but its permanent. I called around and couldn't find anyone who knew how to do the wrap. How much did you pay to have that done?
