I have the JGC slush mats - front, rear, and cargo. I love them so far!

After I got home, I did notice two deformities: First the hood did not line up evenly where it met the fenders just above the lights. Luckily I was able to screw down the rubber stop bumper in the engine compartment and now it lines up nicely. Second involves the exhaust tips; I will let the photos below speak of the poor QC of Jeep.

I also had to upload a pic of my FX35 out of respect.
The exhaust tip is any easy fix - I had to do it to mine. The tip is held onto the tailpipe by a clamp - 1/2" socket. Loosen the clamp and the tip will be able to be moved vertically or horizontally.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Wow thats the most out of whack exhaust tip I have seen. Like someone has mentioned it almost looks like it hit something. Double check its not damaged. If not just loosen the bolt and line it up perfectly, super easy job. Congrats on the purchase! I know you said the FX35 treated you well which is great, but man that Jeep looks 50 times better :-)

This is an awesome surprise. Coming from an FX35, the suspension is the only thing I didn't like during my extended test drive; felt like I was going to roll the Summit when I took off ramps a little too fast. Now driving the HA, I know that I made the right choice.

i thought the suspension was the same.... there was no confirmation that the air suspension was "tuned"......

Well you must not have taken an off ramp in the new HA yet because it's the same suspension. I'm pretty sure it was eventually said that the suspension is identical to the Summit and Overland.

For what it's worth though, for a large SUV that's as capable as the Summit/Overland is, I actually feel confident in turns. Handles pretty well IMO and I have owned some pretty good handling cars. It feels floaty on some road surfaces, but in turns its ok.

I agree with the QL tuning, way too floating over road rises, but faaaar less body roll than I would expect in a 5000+ lb SUV. But damn does it ride comfy on the highway.

Also, the HA doesn't have a black headliner? I'm not talking suede like the Summit, but it's grey mesh?? They black out everything on the whole damn jeep but leave the headliner grey? That is a huge pet peeve of mine (looooove my black headliner).

Ive read in multiple places that the suspension is stiffer and more sport oriented on the HA, are you sure its identical ? even the sticky post right above this says that its more dampened

No I'm not 100% sure. I am just basing this off other HA threads where I thought everyone determined it was the same. I think there was someone who cross referenced all the parts and said they were the same. Again, i don't have any factual information. If it really was different that's awesome and I am now curious.

I have an HA and the headliner is black. Also, the suspension does seem less floaty than my Overland was; this HA has a V6 and my Overland had a V8 so maybe the lighter V6 is the reason it feels different to me.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Yeah all HA's have all black interior including black headliner in the standard non-Summit/SRT material.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I've had my HA for about 3 weeks now. Didn't know anything about this model before I saw it at the dealer's. How can you not love it?
