Looks crazy awesome @xosbuckeye! I really like all the touches you put on your Jeep and can't wait to see it with the links!

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Hi Guys, been a way for a while but now just picked up a white 2015 HA for my wife. She was a bit hesitant as she doesn't care for the black wheels. As a result and going to upgrade them to the SRT Spider replicas. I found a set in 20x9 +34 offset. Can you guys let me know if that will work without issue. Plan is to just use the stock wheels for now.

Thanks

Yes they will work perfectly just bolt on and go. Even pressure sensors learn automatically

Thank you. It's coming along nicely. Putting the links on sometime this week than I want to get the chrome front and rear pieces wrapped and than I'm done. For a little while anyways.

Nice looking ride. Just need to get some wheel spacers on there and you'll be good

I know in the corners, especially around the mirror, you have to use a large roughly 10" X 10" piece of vinyl and then cut a triangular section out of the center. Then it is pretty much wrapping the straight pieces. The hardest part I think is going to be the rear lower window corner. Again, starting with a large rectangular piece at the bottom, big enough to catch where the two aluminum trim pieces at the bottom meet and then trimming the vinyl to a thinner piece as it goes over the top of the rear window. I am going to attempt this on mine in the spring. It is best to be around 70 to get the vinyl to be pliable. Probably still have to use a heat gun.

Wrapping will be a must for us as soon as I find a reputable installer. It's the only thing I'm hit or miss on is the chrome and trivalent chrome pieces, would have preferred them black from the get go.

Yeah. Agreed. Why they don't just black it out from the get go I don't understand.

Thank you for info! I had dealer order mine today and will have them install them. Appreciate it!!!

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I wonder how much the window trim from 2016 SRT cost compared to wrap.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Hi Guys, I've read through most of the thread. I picked up my HA 5.7 Bright White 2 weeks ago, loving it.

Upcoming Mods Inspired by Xosubuckeye

Bora Wheel Spacers 1.5 inch
Red Mopar Brake Covers
Hemi 5.7 Badge on the side
Debadge Grand Cherokee on the side
Lowering Links*

I've tried to understand the Lowering links thing and I read the thread on it. However I am not a DYI'er and I wish to just pay the shop to do it.

My questions are:

1.) Will this effect suspension in the future negatively/ is it reversible? (I have a lease)

2.) What do I ask for exactly at the shop/ How much will it cost?

Thanks again guys

Completely reversible, just make sure they don't throw out the old ones. Ride might be a little stiffer but won't cause any damage.

The link is the metal thing on the left which simply pops on and off. I don't think I have a picture of the fronts.
