Red Mopar Brake Covers
Hemi 5.7 Badge on the side
Debadge Grand Cherokee on the side
Lowering Links*

I've tried to understand the Lowering links thing and I read the thread on it. However I am not a DYI'er and I wish to just pay the shop to do it.

My questions are:

1.) Will this effect suspension in the future negatively/ is it reversible? (I have a lease)

2.) What do I ask for exactly at the shop/ How much will it cost?

Thanks again guys
Thanks for the shout out and congratulations on the new ride. Firstly the spacers you will fall in love. Only do Bora though. My suspension links will be here tomorrow or thursday thanks to James and I can't wait. You don't need to have them professionally installed. It's a ten minute job and no tools. If James is willing to do them for you it will save you about $200. I will post some new pictures when I put them on in a couple of days.
The caliper covers you might take some crap from people for putting those on. I installed them on my last jeep and took so much shit for it that this time I just painted the calipers red until I can afford to put some real brembos on. I don't have a problem with caliper covers but a lot of people do so to each his own on that one. Anyways keep us posted on your mods and make sure to post pictures of your HA.

I had red "Jeep" caliper covers on my black altitude that I got from car id. I liked the look but couldn't stand all shit I took from everyone else for having them on so this time I just painted mine red. I actually like the painted look better now when I compare them. The first time I put the covers on I didn't have spacers and the wheels made huge scratch marks all over the covers so I had to get spacers just so the covers wouldn't rub. Actually it was just the front two that were the problem. Kind of sucked spending $200 for caliper covers to have them all beat up 15 minutes after installing them. Again though it really shouldn't be about what others think, if it's what you want than you should put them on. Personally I got tired of the negative remarks that I got for having them on.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

May be a dumb question, but did you notice any decrease in the turning radius with the Bora spacers on? I thought I read somewhere that the spacers will change the turning abilities of the jeep in comparison to stock.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Who cares what others say, it's your jeep...if you think it looks good..DO IT!!! The only comment I've ever gotten other then hey those look nice is someone suggesting they be red since my overland is white. I didn't wanna do that and have that bold look so I went subtle and black with the HEMI in silverish grey on mine.

Nah actually thats a valid question. I am still waiting to receive my spacers so I cant comment, but a good way to find out is if the tires get very close to the wheel well when fully turned either direction, then I can see possible rubbing issues, but I would imagine there is plenty of clearance so I am gonna assume turning radius will not change, and there will be no rubbing when fully turned either direction and even in lowest ride height setting. Maybe some of the guys with spacers on now can comment.

No none at all. The wider stance actually feels much better to me.

I had a 15 altitude that I gave to my wife. I took her 14 explorer in with 8 months still on the lease to get an HA. Mine is $545 a month on a 30 month lease. No money down no first payment. 12,000 miles per year.

Also, is yours a 2015 or 16, I heard that they changed the trim from that weird bronze chrome to a more true black chrome?

Mine is a 15 and it has the new trim. Not much changed from the 15 to 16.
