Most places say 5-7 years.

Adding this to my future HA mod list 👍. Like the grille too, but think I'll just wrap what is chrome for the more unified look. Make sure to post updates on how it is holding up if you start to experience any probs. Thanks again for the info!

Where do you keep hearing this? I was just at the dealership literally 30 minutes ago to pick something up and looked at a 2016 HA in person. I saw no differences whatsoever inside or out with exception to the new shifter. If they did change something its certainly minor enough that I couldn't see the difference.

The top pic is a 15 and lower is a 16...It's pretty clear especially on the grill inserts and lower front bumper that the 16 is a truer black chrome.

And in my opinion Jeep realized they screwed up the trim color scheme on the 15 and simply corrected it.

Re: Caliper covers... Without spacers, will the black wheels clear them with no binding? Also, does anyone know of a good cleaner to keep the leather steering wheel feeling like new? After a time, they all seem to absorb body oils from hands and get that shiny look and feel. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
On my previous 15 altitude I had to put .5" spacers on to keep the wheel from rubbing on the caliper covers. It did a lot of damage to the fronts before the spacers. I've since gone to painting the calipers on my HA.

Not trying to argue with you but those pictures just look like a matter of different lighting. I to was just at the dealership with my 15 HA and compared it to a 16 that was sitting there and I couldn't see a difference. Maybe I'm missing something but they looked the same to me.

That's fine but even on jeep.com, they refer to it as dark chrome

2016 is the same as 15 on chrome - maybe we can hope they will smoke em more in 17 👍

This particular 16 was fresh off the truck - filthy and still had all of the plastic wrap.

Sorry that looks completely different than the 15s I've seen, they almost look like a dark bronze trim, this looks more dark gunmetal

No biggie anyway, I'll be changing mine anyway, either true black or body color...either way, jeep messed it up, two different color trims looks horrible
