Not 100% sure if this is to be believed but I found this while looking into whether or not the suspension really is "tuned"

'Tis a very subjective thing. It's good to have choices and the HA is filling in a nice space that seems to have needed filling.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

So is the suspension the same or not? It was confirmed in another thread that it is indeed the same.

I had a Summit for 3 days while waiting for my HD; drove 60 miles per day to work and back. Doing the same route for a few days now in the HA, I definitely see a difference. Forgot to slow down on an off ramp this evening and it felt tight, no oh $hit it might roll.

I can't believe there is no sure fire way to find out.

Sure fire way would be for someone with a summit to give us one of their strut part numbers directly off the label so we can compare to one of our vehicles.

Even if the part is the same, can it be configured (tuned differently?

Possibly through pressure adjustments on the entire system etc, I don't really know enough about the internals of a quadralift strut to confidently say yes or no.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

We would rather see HAs pics in all their glory instead of struts and their part numbers 😃

Milous' post in the pinned 2015 High Altitude thread says the 2015 HA chassis has "Performance Shock Dampening for a sportier ride". I believe it.

It can be done but if your going to spend that amount of time and effort why not do the SRT front end

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I actually like the HA front more than the SRT.
