Waiting for spacers to come in and will post some pics.

Can't wait to see them. I'm interested in how the spacer pull the factory wheels out when it's lowered. Also where did you get the lowering links? I would love to see more photos of them installed

My lowering links are going on sometime today and my spacers are already on, I will post some pictures sometime later today or tomorrow so you guys can see what they look like. If your looking for the links ask James on this forum, he might actually have a set still for sale for like $90 compared to $300 if you order them online.

Maybe some people have money burning holes in their pockets lol. You will ALWAYS have people bitch and moan about factory installed tires. The same that will be happening with the new Bridgestone and Pirellis they now install on the WK2. Funny thing if you should see what other people have been saying about those tires on other forums. Same crap people say here about the Forters...yup you guessed it they think they're junk...although I had no issues whatsoever with the Bridgestones on our new Highlander, they worked fine.
You'd understand if you had one or more out of balance from the factory, giving your jeep a vibration at highway speeds.

I've had 3 WK2s with Forteras and have fortunately never had a vibration issue at all. I don't find them to be a bad tire at all. But they're one of those tires that just doesn't do anything very well. For on road manners, they're subpar offering a bit of grinding/vibration feel at lower speeds especially when cold. Snow, they can survive in which is enough for me in New Mexico. Mud, they suck obviously. One thing I like about them is that they don't throw rocks. Like I said, they are ok at everything, just not that impressive at anything.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Lowering Links just installed. Thank you to James for hooking me up with these. Well worth the $90. Literally took 10 minutes to install. Much easier than I though. I took it for a spin around the block and there was no rubbing or grinding. I only went around the block max speed 45 so I can't tell you guys much more than that. All I can say it I think it looks freakin sweet and was probably the easiest mod Ive done so far. Thanks again James for the hook up.Let me know what you guys think.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Wow that looks freaking sweet!!!

Couple questions

Do you need to align it after you do this?

Would the 1.25" spacers still fit on there without rubbing?

Do you need to adjust the head lights?

Is the rear still at the same rake angle as it was stock since all 4 corners are lowered ? Don't want to manually adjust the lights as lazy as that sounds.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Holy Smokes! WOW! OMG! That has to be the sweetest looking HA on the road. And with the lowering links, my wife would stop complaining about how difficult it is to climb in and out. Please let me know what might be altered with doing that to mine, i.e. headlights, quadralift air settings, etc. Also, where did you order the links from for $90. That is a small price to pay.
