Couple questions

Do you need to align it after you do this?

Would the 1.25" spacers still fit on there without rubbing?

Do you need to adjust the head lights?

Is the rear still at the same rake angle as it was stock since all 4 corners are lowered ? Don't want to manually adjust the lights as lazy as that sounds.

I don't think you need to align after but I just installed them a few hours ago.

I have the bora spacers on and there is no rubbing.

I have not adjusted the headlights yet but I'm pretty sure that you do need to. It's easy to do though.

It still has the factory rake. I think it would look stupid without the rake. Manually adjusting the headlights is easy and I'm no mechanic.

This was by far the easiest mod I've done. Ten minutes.

Thank you.
James will make them for you and ship them out for $90 if you ask him. Nothing at all has to be altered except the headlights which you technically don't have to do but to be Curtious to others you probably want to and it's easy to manually adjust them. James hook these guys up. I would say it's a little side business for you but your not making any money.

Ok, I was on the fence, but for $90, I'll take a set of these too. Who do I send my money to?

One other question. How is the ride compared to standard height? I imagine it might be a bit stiffer, but it probably corners a bit better.

You want to PM JTS97Z28 for the links. It's well worth it.

To be honest I only drive around the block go no faster than 45. I couldn't really tell a difference but I was paying more attention to see if there was any rub. There was not. I'll post more tomorrow once I've driven around some more. I don't know if it's because I'm half in the bag or not but I keep going to the garage to just stare at my ride. My wife says I have issues.

If she's anything like my wife... She knows you have issues but you can't help it. She knows you're only a man and genetically flawed. Just admit that you're always wrong, she's always right and go to your garage.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Regarding the headlights, they might actually not need to be adjusted since we are lowering the Jeep evenly all corners. So technically the beams would need to be raised slightly if anything. I would leave them as is and drive a few nights and see how they are. Before when I said lowering the lights was a just is when people only lower the rear.
I noticed no changes in the ride of the Jeep when lowering mine. As far as alignment...this is my opinion only so take it for what it's worth, but I feel by doing this we are actually driving closer to spec more often. Supposedly they say the Jeep is aligned at the factory in sport mode. If that's the case then assuming most vehicle drive in normal ride height, we are now lowering the Jeep to where normal ride height is approx what the old aero mode was...which is where it was aligned to spec at. So in other words, you are now driving most of the time closer to where it was aligned at. That's my theory anyway and I'm sticking to it. Either way it's only an inch change so it's not much.

Yeah that's the truth. She is the one who told me to be more productive around the house. So I'm working in the garage a lot.

Nope, don't care about show car swirls, they all have em.

I meant in general. Love the white with all the black accents but I'd get a silver one myself.

Who is the member who sells them? I would like to contact him. Maybe tag him if you could please?

Also what size spacers are you running on there. Your jeep looks so sharp man

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

that looks pretty sweet, but i'm not clear on exactly what the links do? is the idea to just keep it constantly at entry/exit height and prevent it auto-raising to aero or whatever?

i've noticed when i'm backing down my driveway and onto the street, if i leave it at entry/exit, the angle (maybe 5-10 degrees?) is enough that when i roll over the curb to the street, the backup sensor freaks out and brakes hard lol. i wonder if you'll have that issue keeping it at this height on any type of inclines?
