Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

First post. I just left dealership earlier today and they gave me a price of 47,600 before taxes tags and destination. I walked away. Should I have taken it? Sorry if this isn't the place for this post.

It all depends on MSRP, there's up to $4500 in rebates right now and that's before you start to negotiate the sale price with the dealer, I got my $54175 car down to $46500 then had them roll taxes and fees into payment. Also the banks that jeep works with have their own incentives so make sure to ask for the different programs available, don't let them choose because it will always be the one that is best for them

It's not a bad price then, I got mine a little lower but I was also leasing a second grand Cherokee at the same time for my wife so they worked with me. How much of the discount is rebate money and how much is dealer discount ?

Ah, I think the rebate money is much stronger on the leases right now so if that is mostly dealer discount your doing pretty well

I believe they can. It's not an HA, but I bought my 2014 Summit V8 new and had an MSRP of just shy of $56,000. My price was $47,000. That's basically 9 grand off sticker!

Well it's a 2015 model and at a dealer with 275 grand Cherokees on their lot so they wanted to move it I assume with the 2016 coming out early next year.
