Mine was a little crooked with a small gap when new. The dealer fixed it and it was perfect.

For those that have vinyl wrap their side chrome, what was the cost?

I got some 375 dollar quote here in San Diego just for the sides (right and left)

And a 495 for roof quote... If you wrapped your car yourself can you provide the materials needed and links or vendor cost

Thank you in advance

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I recently got a quote of $200 for gloss black window trim wrap. Sounded very reasonable to me.

That's a bargain. I need to keep looking or drive north to LA where there is more competition shops

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I called this place: X-treme Graphics & Lettering, Inc. It's a Chicago area place and was referred by MOFSTEEL. I haven't made an appointment yet, but at some point I'll get it done.

I got my trim on my Limited done for $300 but had quotes up to $600. That $300 price seemed in the middle (give or take) as to what people have paid on the forums. I probably am finding another shop to do the HA when I get around to it though, wasn't 100% happy with the outcome.

The grille trim requires a plastic pry tool. I just slipped it behind the ring at the bottom and gave it a tug. Try not to twist the tool as the tool will make marks in the grille . They pop off at the bottom and then just work the tool around the sides and top. Then just take the new rings and push them back in. Rings have tabs in different locations so you can't get them mixed up.

Tail light trim was a little more difficult. The tail lights have to come out. The outside ones are very easy - open the gate, pry the two plastic retainers out and pull the light out. To remove the center or gate lights you have remove the gate interior trim by prying around the trim panel. Once the interior trim is removed there are 4 10mm nuts that hold each light. Now that the lights are all out turn them over and you will see a small torx - #10 - screw. Remove that screw and the pry the trim away from the light. It is held on with double backed tape. Clean pretty much all the old tape off before you install the new trim.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I just got a quote in Boca Raton for $350 to do the window trim in gloss black. $50 more to add the taillights. That was my first stop and I will should be checking other places as well. I think this was a very high-end place I stopped at and will be curious to see how much the other shops are charging in this area.
