If you have factory towing, there's no wiring harness to buy. The trailer wiring will plug into the back of the Jeep. Since U-Hauls generally have surge-brakes, no brake controller should be required, either.

I personally ran them at 38 psi cold year round, adjusting as needed for ambient cold (morning) temps from time to time. I run my current tires the same way. The factory recommendation should be 36 on the door frame if I recall.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I run them at around 38-39 in the cold months and back to 36 during the spring and summer. Whenever I leave them at 36 and it gets cold the display shows low tire pressure and I have to bump the psi up slightly for the winter.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I'm same as user ^^ CL30 above. I pretty much set them so they all read a consistent 38-39 year round.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I currently have a black chrome HEMI badge on my right side (symmetric look)

I just saw that their is a HA badge (part number 68234481aa) but I don't see it fitting the black lettering. Unless it's sprayed black.

Thoughts?

I saw this badge for the first time on a Patriot this morning. The lighter portion of the mountains is reflective. I bought one of these thinking I would spray tint it but the badge is pretty thin and the 'high altitude' is like a decal. $20.00 if you want to buy it. I went with this badge and spray tinted it.

No thank you sticking with my HEMI badge. Just wanted to share the HA one, since I didn't know it existed

Any extra dirt/debris getting kicked up with the spacers on? Bought a set in an whim/impulse and have been debating if I want to toss them on

It's not something you'll notice in the short term. It's not like he can go out there and see new rock chips right away. In theory having the wheels out further will put more painted body panels at risk so that's something you just have to deal with. SRT models have wheels at the same location and I don't recall it ever being a notable issue.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

High Standing Water...No Problem! With 6,800 miles on my High Altitude, I am still loving it since delivery in November. I've never had a vehicle with high ground clearance or adjustable air suspension. The past couple of weeks, we've had some torrential rains down here in South Florida, with lots of standing water making some roads almost off limits for normal folks. I slowed down, raised to OR1 and OR2 (lowering links lost about an inch) and confidently drove through about 12" of water. While it might not seem like much to many of you, I wouldn't have done it with my MB C300 or the Infiniti FX I used to drive. WOW! How cool is it to drive a Jeep? I almost hope we get even more rain so I can do it again!!
Incidentally, I've been reading some posts trashing the quality assurance and reliability of the JGC. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, but I've yet to find anything to bring it in for, other than an oil change and rotation that I just can't wait until the indicator says it is time to do. And I am a super anal techie type that notices every minute imperfection or sound. I LOVE MY JEEP and look forward to replacing it with a 2018 or 2019 model.
