Haven't noticed any additional dirt beyond the normal. Had them on for over a week on both wet and dry roads. I had spacers on my previous vehicle for years (BMW X6) and never had issues with kicking up debris.

1.25" is the max I would go. anything larger would definitely extend beyond the wheel wells.

I like how it makes it more aggressive but at the same time it almost appears to look like the toe is all out of wack.

Might change once it's out of entry exit mode of course once the geometry changes a bit.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I think this angle makes the rear tires look so skinny and out too far. I am going to take my spacers off tomorrow before I take it in for an alignment and see what the stance looks like after. Might be another spacer set in the 'FOR SALE' threads next week.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

^^^ That's the exact angle I have been talking about this entire time. Thanks for sharing. The other angle that I cant get used to was directly behind the Jeep. I kind of feel bad now because I feel I was the one that caused all this negativity towards the spacers lol.
When I had my spacers on and decided to go back to stock and see how I felt, the instant I saw the stance back to stock I knew I liked it more so there was no question. I thought that with stock wheels/tires, the 1.25" was a bit much for my liking, I actually think a 1" spacer would suit the stock wheel size the best, but I'm not sure if those are available. Unfortunately that still doesn't change the fact that the car will have 40 lug nuts. That's when just going with an SRT style wheel to achieve that stance seems like the way to go.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

On a lighter note .... It's the little things that help. The JGC has the absolute best knobs. I refer to the a/c fan control, volume and tuner controls. They're large, wrapped in a tire tread kind of rubber, easy to grab and use. This may seem trivial, but it adds to the ease of driving. I also appreciate the cup holders. Good size and deep enough. Perfect for my to-go cup and my wife's giant Starbucks iced tea doesn't tip over. You can't say that about the Mercedes cup holders. Like I said. It's the little things.

2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I bought my white '15 Overland HA with Hemi on 3/22. I don't have big plans. I spent a ton of money on my JKU's and wanted something better to drive. I miss the top down , but once I hit the highway I get over it real quick. I decided to sell my Rubicon when my dog died of cancer on 3/15. Just wasn't the same without him. I got a new puppy 3 days later and decided I wanted something for he and I to travel the country in comfort.

I took delivery and two days later I notice some touch up paint on the hood. The dealer will be fixing Wednesday and providing a vehicle.

I ordered a Canvasback that will be here tomorrow. Because of the screw up by dealer they are selling me all weather mats for their cost of $105. I might shoot for free. I will post pics when I have enough posts.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Question for you HA owners. I am thoroughly enjoying my 2015 HA, but coming from a Summit I do sort of miss the fancier interior. One thing that has me a bit confused in the HA is the center console arm rest and differences between them. The console in my '15 HA feels like crappy vinyl where as my Summit felt like a very high end leather. It's a big deal to me since I see and feel the arm rest everytime I drive the car. I also never liked the mismatched silver stitching when the rest of the interior has black stitching.

So I was at my dealer today getting a complimentary car wash and looked at a few Jeeps. I was pleasantly surprised to see for the 2016 HA they added the much nicer Summit console lid with matching black stitching. Then in the showroom I sat in an HA thinking it was a 2016 as it had the new console, but it was a 2015?!? So was the Summit console some sort of a late 2015 running change or what? I thought my HA having a 12/15 build date was a very late built one. So what gives here? When did they switch to the nicer console? Wish mine had it.
What arm rest console does your HA have?
It's not cheap, but I really want to buy the Summit lid. Online shows $274.
