Did you get yours back on right and locate the screw that fell down inside the console?

I don't know where you ran into problems because there really is no screwing up alignment as the screws put it where it needs to be. Maybe removing that panel underneath the lid is what's screwing things up.

I'm going to keep mine with the improper stitching while I raise my puppy and when he chews it or punctures it with his nails then I will go to dealer and say mine wasn't the correct one.

Jeep > puppy. If any dog f'ed up my interior that would be the last time it ever goes in that lol. Luckily our dog is only a little 5lb Maltese, but she rarely has to go in the cars anyway and if for whatever reason she does she just lays in your lap.

The best vehicle for me is a Rubicon which I just sold for the GC. I sold it because my other dog died of cancer and my love for it died as well. I made a lot of memories with the last dog and wanted to start traveling long distances with this puppy which the Rubicon on 37's was not meant for. I have a Canvasback which should keep the interior pretty good, but he is still just a puppy and thing happen. I'm leasing this vehicle so I only will care about it for 3 years or less. By then, all the kinks should be out of the new Raptor and then I will buy that probably. Or maybe I will fall in love with this Jeep or another GC or another Rubicon once the puppy is older. I've never owned a vehicle more than 3 years so its a guarantee that I won't own this one longer than that.

Hang in there on the loss of your beloved dog. I've had that happen a couple of times and it's tough, they're family and you care about them deeply. New memories with the puppy await you both 😎

nah man, that reset no problem. i'm wondering if the screw i dropped is somehow under the hinge area or something to tilt it.

my buddy got a honda element for his dog transporting. that thing's great, you can just hose it out.

Ahh ok, well either way in sure you'll figure it out as it's very simple. As long as the hinge is layer flat and the screws are installed it's not possible for it to be out of alignment. Like I said pop off the rear most panel and you should be able to get to the screw that way. Or maybe before you do that, reach your hand down to the bottom of the console and pull the plastic out and maybe it will drop out on its own if it's lodged between the side of the console and the carpet.

popped the back of the console off, screw was right there. looked around, didn't notice anything un-level. re-attached armrest, all is well. shrug. gremlins, man. i'm not feeding my HA after midnight, just to be safe.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Anyone had any luck with getting their center "white" stitching console replaced? Making a trip to the dealer myself at the end of the week, just curious if anyone else has any additional info or heard back from their dealer? Thanks.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

I called my salesman and told him about it. He said "that doesn't sound right", and said to call the service department to schedule a time to bring it in, which I haven't done yet.
