I definitely am happy with the black lugs. I prefer the McGard lugs, though. Use the same 22mm wrench as oem. Also, made in USA, lifetime warranty. Pricier but you only buy them once for life of the car.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Whoopee!! Went to my dealer this morning. Checked out the replacement console arm rest that came in to parts department. My service advisor decided to let me swap them out in the parking lot in five minutes instead of waiting hours for service department to do it. WOW! Big difference. I love my arm rest! It is so much more appropriate than the vinyl with white stitching. Thanks to James for mentioning this to all of us.

Awesome! How many days did it take to get the new center armrest?

It actually only took 5 days but my service advisor left the dealership and nobody picked up on my order. James got his in about three days. You will love the look and feel of the correct leather arm rest with black stitching.

I will for certain. I looked at one and felt it on a 2016 High Altitude the dealer had. Thanks!

Sweeeeet glad it worked out. I agree with you about the difference it makes. Since it's something you see and feel everytime you drive your Jeep the differences are significant.

Do you guys have the model number of the black McGard lug nuts you have on your HAs? I believe the other option is the Gorilla 96643BDX wheel locks.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Well stopped by one dealership to see about the armrest... over an hour later they tell me they need my jeep for half a day to take pic's ridiculous. I told them fine do my oil change and tire rotation set up for next thurs. Then remembered a smaller more personal dealer a lil ways out of the way stopped in 10min tops he took pics and info said he would be in touch WTF!!! Amazes me every time how people always try and push out the personal touch mom and pop joints out there for big business which treats you like sh*t when you know more info then they do. So sad but here's hoping for a speedy solution and thank esp to JTS97Z28 for pointing this particular issue out for me because i went in and felt the difference and was blinded by the new car smell when i picked it up.

Chrysler approved the black stitched leather center armrest for me. I am just waiting for dealer to get it from vendor.

I've been trying to get this addressed myself. Went to my dealer a week+ ago, and after having to explain my case a couple of times first got the response, what you have is what should be on there. I pushed back and was told that the next day the regional Chrysler rep was coming by and she would bring it up with him. She called after this to say he agreed it did not seem right and they would order a replacement.

Fast forward a week to yesterday when I went in for the swap. Guess what, it's the same thing I have now, the only difference being the label which indicates vinyl or leather had a second label over it w/ no description only a bar code. I could see the sticker beneath it but we couldn't make it out and they didn't want to peel the top on off given it was going back. But it def looked like the vinyl one I had and was the white stitching.

By this point I had several guys in the service department involved and the parts guy said that they can order by VIN or model and in either case what came is what would come again if they tried a second time. I kept pushing back that I have seen pictures of 1) a label w/ leather, and 2) a console with black stitching, so I know they exist. He said he would make more calls and get back to me. He wrote down the exact label from the pics on this thread of the leather label, though I believe they are identical to the vinyl one. He asked if I had the VIN from the vehicle on this forum that was correctly swapped (which wouldn't help since that was wrong from the factly like mine) and at first I said no, but as I got outside remembered a few posts back someone linked to a HA on the lot at a dealership that clearly shows pics of the correct black stitching console, the only difference being it's a '16. I went back in and asked if it would be helpful to use that VIN and he said it might so he took that down and said he would investigate further.

So time will tell. It would be great if the one guy (I think so far?) that was successful with this on the forum had the Chrysler contact since so far no part number has surfaced that points anyone in the right direction.

Quite the mystery...
