Picked up my HA white fully loaded with rear DVD last Wednesday and totally loving it so far. Wasn't even planning on getting a Jeep let alone know this High Altitude trim exists until I saw it on the dealer's website. Called them in the morning and drove it home 5 hours later. This will be my 5th Jeep, the last one I owned (Commander Limited) was back in 2007. Loving it so far and glad to be back in a Jeep. Such a fun car to drive. Waiting for spacers to come in and will post some pics.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Have had mine for two weeks now. I love it. Any of you guys have any issues with the black trim popping off the chrome trim on the rear doors? Its tough to explain, but mine were coming off and I'm having my dealer replace them when I get back from the holidays.

Here's a better description. The arrows show were the vertical black trim is popping off from the chrome window trim on the rear doors. Its happening on both sides but definitely worse on drivers side.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

^^^ That's fairly common and not specific to any particular model. Its just one of those things that may have been designed poorly or the adhesive just not holding. I didn't have the problem on my 2014 Summit, but after delivery I did have to fix a couple things here and there that weren't aligned perfectly or up to my standards. All minor and not something I would go to a dealership for as I always feel they would just make it worse.
On my 2012 Overland, that did have the same problem you explained above and I fixed it myself. Its been a white but I think I pulled it out just enough to get some epoxy adhesive in there, then secured it back in place and they never pulled out again.

I've had my white v8 HA about 4 mos now. Absolutely love the car. I get all kinds of random compliments on it. Very happy with my purchase. It has been pretty trouble free after about 3500 miles. Recently did a 1000 mile road trip with no issues.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Had a 2014 Limited and my wife liked it so much she took it away from me! :slap fight: She really liked the white HA, so we traded the 14 in on a 15 HA and she's happy. Im stuck with a Fusion....for now! I have noticed the front wheel edge trip on the fender is lifted a bit. Seems like the 3m tape didn't sit flat. Anyone have a similar problem?

Also have a 15 in white. Got it two months ago. Would like some info on those spacers and to see after pics when you get them installed. Wouldn't mind getting my wheels out just a tad.

15' HA with 6000k LED fogs, 25% tint, 275/55/20 duratrac's tires.

Looking to add rock rails (if I can find a dealer to do the work) and skid plates. Love the rig!

Sweet ride! I just picked mine up yesterday and am looking to switch out fogs as well. What kind/brand of LED fogs did you go with? I've been looking into OPT7 fog bulbs vs XenonDepot bulbs. Trying to decide.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

New to the forum, and almost a new HA owner.

I have test drove a Summit but don't like all the chrome. The dealer told me about the HA and is getting a gray one from another dealer for me. The Jeep website is a bit off on the feature comparison between models but have found the truth in this thread.

One thing I still don't know: The Summit I drove has blue accent lighting in the cup holder and door levels, is this also standard in the HA. And if so, can the color be changed?

Yes the interior lighting will be identical between the two models. Interior lighting color cannot be changed. That's just a silly Ford thing:D

The HA is very nicely equipped. It has most features of the Summit minus a few things such as the nice headliner and adaptive headlights which are Summit/SRT only features.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

Just picked up my 2015 HA in Granite this evening. I traded in a 2009 Infiniti FX35AWD which served me very well. I'm limited in photo opportunities since it dark outside but I did snap one at the dealership.

After I got home, I did notice two deformities: First the hood did not line up evenly where it met the fenders just above the lights. Luckily I was able to screw down the rubber stop bumper in the engine compartment and now it lines up nicely. Second involves the exhaust tips; I will let the photos below speak of the poor QC of Jeep.

I also had to upload a pic of my FX35 out of respect.

The exhaust tip is any easy fix - I had to do it to mine. The tip is held onto the tailpipe by a clamp - 1/2" socket. Loosen the clamp and the tip will be able to be moved vertically or horizontally.

Re: 2015 High Altitude Owners Thread

One more thing......

The dealer had given me a Summit for a 3 day extended test drive while the located my HA. The suspension seems tighter (less bouncy) in the HA; both have the same QL. Is this in my head or is there a difference???

The HA's suspension is tuned to be more sporty so it's not in your head, also your passenger side exhaust tip looks almost damaged like it was backed into something, I would bring that to the dealers attention ASAP
