Not so much into the paint choice of the WK2, but love the nose, lower air dam, larger fender flares and HUGE lower driving lights. New one-off billet wheels are nice - hopefully they spill the data on the suspension lift.

Ditto!!

34" tires is pretty impressive as well. We'll see if any of this actually makes it to us consumers.

I was able to glean some data from the poster board in Detroit. The tires are 285/65R18(33") BFG ATs, the hood is from a SRT8, the monster lights are Baja Designs 6" HID w/amber lenses, it has a new custom front skid plate and new lower front facia. The Jeep itself is a Limited, Quadralift with a custom 1" suspension lift.

Re: 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts

OK. I saw the Jeep Chief (blue/white one) and thought IH Scout?

Saw the Jeep Staff Car (tan with military tires) and my fist thought was, "Wow, that's a clean M151." Until I looked closer.

Overall, yawn.

Last year and this year seem to 'tame' compared to the 3-5 years prior.

EDIT: And seriously! What's with the tiny pictures? 700x500 pixels? Did they send someone out with a 1997 digital camera? Where the heck are the hi-res pics?

Re: 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts

Some of those Jeep engineers must fancy the Toyota FJ 40 a wee too much...
I agree that those rims are part of the whatever retro look they were aiming for, but with modern day disc brakes that need cooling, I don't think that Wrangler is crossing Africa any time soon.

Can't stand that 2015 concept Grand Cherokee. I guess these days are over...

Autoblog has some extreme hi-res photos on their website, complete with full interior pics as well. Zooming in on each photo allows to see the little details.
