Hello. I have recently been looking for the best deal on a new 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4, Granite Crystal with the 9 Speaker sound system.

The lease details that I am looking for are: 36 months, 10k miles a year, $0 down

I was recently quoted $483/month sign and drive, plus tax 8.1% = $522 total monthly payment on an Altitude with a MSRP of $39,575 or $37,596 w/discount

Does $522/month sign and drive (includes taxes) seem like a good deal for a Laredo Altitude? *I do not have the MF or Residual on hand*

Thank you for your help in advance everyone.

Yeah $520 a month is ridiculous! I have the Laredo E and it came out to $336 with 0 down and 15K miles. I was originally being quoted in the $450's for my Jeep (same terms and conditions). Shop around and use consumer reports to help (I was able to get a deal with mine because of consumer reports).

Seems very high! I just leased a 14 Limited with 20 inch wheels plus the Premium Nav/HD radio, sign and drive 39/15k for 449.00 tax in. Turned my 12 laredo X at end of lease. This is with Tier 2 credit as well.

Yes, but on the same token you can't compare lease deals on a 2014 directly to ones for a 2015. The incentives aren't the same.

What should we be aiming around for 38k plus tax altitudes zero down lease payments... ? Trying to figure out a monthly ball park on a lease myself as well to see if I would rather go that route since I buy new cars every 2-3 years anyway... Anyone have about 38k plus tax payment on a lease with nothing down we can compare to?

so whats a good ball park for us to aim for? price wise? i'm thinking all said and done taxes fees will be right around 40k for the lease cap cost.

I just leased a '14 Altitude for only $389 a month... $1,000 down + 1st month + DMV. Granted i traded in my '08 WK, which covered taxes and whatever i owed to the bank. I was more than happy to walk away from my WK with no hassel.

'14 WK2 Altitude
MSRP = $39,030

I would try and find a remaining '14... my dealer was more than happy to work with me and get me the price i wanted. It may be tough to find a good deal on a '15 when there are a decent amount of 14's around still.

From what i was told tonight, any new lease deals will be released once Chrysler see how many 14's are still unsold after 9/1 (labor day weekend)

Start the hunt for a left over '14, it will be worth it.

Good luck!

I dunno but your deal doesn't sound that good to me? You traded in an 08wk and put 1k down and your still at 389 a month?

I must really be getting railed then based off all your replies.

2014's are gone in Arizona but there are quite a few 2015's now, however none with the 9 speaker system. Building one through the dealership they quoted me $475 for 3 years/36k miles with $4k down. This is for a 15 4x4 Altitude w/ 9 speakers, backup cam, and nav.

I've never leased before but it seems the consensus is to not put that much down. I said I would take it if they could do $450 and they said no, so they were unwilling to budge. I have great credit too (over 800), so I know that wasnt hurting me here.

They originally tried to screw me at $550 to pay MSRP on a 2015 without the above options, so I have little confidence in them to begin with. They're pitch was they dont need to budge much on the price because the Altitudes are hot items and they are confident they can sell them at MSRP.

Anyway, long post but any tips would be appreciated as I contact other dealers to see what they can do for me.

Also your altitude looks great that was my other color choice I kept battling between white and billet silver! Good luck with it I already have a ton of mods to put on and I don't even have mine yet! Any plans for yours looks like you tinted the windows already? I see your sig too how are the LED fogs?

Lol my original dealer (before I ordered one from the group buy) just told me they want 555 a month plus tax title and fees down for a 3yr 10k/yr mile lease on a fully loaded altitude.... I told them they are nuts. I'll be paying 572 a month with 0 down to finance a fully loaded 2015 altitude how does that make any sense!

All in Tax title fees lifetime warranty and fully loaded (every option configurable) Altitude I pay $597 @ 72months 2.34% interest. Only put 500 down on it from my deposit to order.

It's math folks $522 a month for a $37K vehicle 36 month low mileage lease is way high. The residual is set by Jeep and the lower you can get the OUT THE DOOR price (Cap Cost) the less your payment is going to be. Putting down money is going to lower the cap cost but in a lease that's money out the window. You should factor that money down in to 36 payments and just make a higher payment instead. (basically the same thing). There comes a point where if the lease payment is closer to purchase something is wrong...

On a $37Kish car a good deal is high $300s/low $400 with tax. With lease incentives and discounts you should be able to get the vehicle around $35kish easily out the door. I don't have my paperwork in front of me but my $38K stickered 15 Altitude is $390 a month. I covered DMV. Tax is included in your monthly payment. 36 month 12K miles.

A low mileage lease has a higher residual so the payment is a "little" less since the car is less driven. Works in the reverse if you do high mileage leases.

Rob, that's actually one of the best deals for the Altitude I've seen. You have the finance breakdown and what state are you in??

I leased my '14 Altitude (12,000 miles) last may but I got out of another lease early on my '12 Regal GS and I had negative $6000 equity from getting out of that lease early. My payment on my Altitude is $586 TTL w/$2000 down payment. So Just think how much less my payment would be if I didn't have the negative $6000 from my other lease. If your payment is in the 500's for a lease that's too high for something under 40k.

The problem with the 2015 Altitude (4x2 w\ camera) lease these days and finding a good lease deal is the availability of the SUV. Not a lot of them in stock at local dealers (especially white ones) in Southern CA, so dealers are jacking up the MF. Chrysler has .00011 MF but dealers are allowed to mark up .00042 so multiple dealers are quoting the .00053 lease rate (MF) and they are not budging which is surprising. Resdiual is 55%.

Leasing one for 36/12k at invoice (approx $35k) and using $1k Conquest cash rebate and paying minimum drive-offs and using that high MF (.00053) the payment is $416 (including 8% tax). Using the published Chrysler MF (.00011) it would be $391 (including 8% tax).

I did some more checking and it looks like invoice is approx $36500 (not $35k) from checking online (True Car), as well as asking 2 different dealers. Using same numbers you be around $463 per month.

Of the 3 local dealers I spoke with, none are budging off that .00053 MF which is jacking the price up $27 per month. Crazy.

Supply and demand I guess.
