Thanks muser. There are a few in BK I found on Yelp but not this one. I appreciate the help man. Will definitely be in contact with them soon.

im happy with it, plus its partial write off with my business. I dont keep cars beyond 2/3 years anyway. in 39mos youll have paid 23400 ill have paid 19160. You may or may not be in a position of equity at that time if you choose to sell or trade.

well, youve also tossed 10k+ into your whip. So...we're on different levels anyway. Apples/Oranges

What about the higher insurance cost on leases and mileage factors? Also any damage you have to take a hit for when returning the lease. I pay 86 bucks a month on an individual insurance policy (Gieco) 300,000/300,000 coverage with a 100 dollar deductible separate from my home policy as well and no multicar discounts for example (since I have different policies on my other vehicles. Leasing limited run models just never makes any sense but the write off for business does help so I do have to consider that. Dealers get you because the plain Jane models lease at acceptable prices but have nothing you want.

Pros and cons of both as always I guess but for 150 bucks more a month id buy over lease every time.

zero difference in insurance. I have never used as many miles in a year as I leased. At my age, driving history and other discounts when looked at seperately I have a 100 deduct and pay around 60 a month for ins. At the end of the day, I coulda had a $45k Limited 39/12 2kdown for $420. Just didnt want that. The residual is good enough on this one, that it "may" be worth more than the cost to buy at the end as well. And on a limited run altitude, it may just pay some of itself back at that point if I snag it back up.

In the end, I can ask why you didnt just go ahead and Buy a SRT considering your build. SRTs lack of major depreciation would certainly take much less of a hit than all of the aftermarket parts someone may or may not want. Anyway, goin off topic there. too each their own.

Honestly not a day goes by now that I don't ask myself why I didn't. I guess I knew deep down inside I would never stop throwing money at the SRT because of the motor and mod's available (and my past history with cars). With the altitude it had everything I needed and looked great so I considered it a compromise with the better half this time around shopping for cars. I'm at the end of the road as far as mods because theres literally nothing else available to do and i'm not interested in supercharging this thing. I would rather trade it in for an SRT if I was going to go that far. But I do look at them every day and wonder why I didn't just get it from the start.

In the end the only thing stopping me from trading this in right now is i'm actually really happy with the altitude (especially now with the mods). Its great on gas for some of my longer trips and a perfect daily commuter for me.

Summary: Altitude is a great buy/lease as most owners agree! It's great ride and you can't go wrong.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude Lease (Good Deal?)

I compared depreciation vs leasing and it was cheaper to lease. Depreciation looked like 600 a month for the first two years. Then I have to deal with the headache of selling it.

I believe this should actually read, "The only thing stopping me from trading this in right now for an SRT...is having to sleep in the garage on the floor when my spouse finds out about it."

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude Lease (Good Deal?)

Hi all
I am currently looking to lease an 2015 Altitude. I have never leased before so I am really nervous about the negotiating process. I went to a dealer today and was quoted $406 a month for a Laredo, YES the base model with no features. I ran out of there. I am in NY/NJ area, can anyone recommend a dealer and please let me know what monthly price I should be looking at for a GC Altitude.
I know this is hard without any numbers but I will be happy with a ball park number.
Thanks
