Actually it looks like I was wrong. I went back a few pages and found this from Milous. Looks like it is NOT included on Overland. So I'm not sure why it won't let the dealer add it for you in their ordering system.

Summit lower body panels have always been painted gray.

It doesn't appear to be, but that is all that is out there right now, along with a swatch (shown below).

I think you are referring to the door will. Am I correct?

Thanks Milous! I should have been more specific as pertaining to which rendering; I was talking about the exterior one (maybe you were too, I can't tell). The exterior rendering does not seem to match up completely with the features described (satin carbon wheels, gloss black grille, body-colored lower fascia, etc.), so I was wondering if the rendering was accurate or the features described were accurate.

No one knows why it won't let us add it in the ordering system. It lets you with the Hemi, but not the diesel.

I'm talking about the lower most exterior areas below the chrome below the doors and also low on the front and back. Seen in these pictures here: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Gets Diesel Power and Eight-Speed - Motor Trend The General Forum Forum

Notice the lower painted gray sections on the white and red Summits. With the 2015 Summit, if you choose the Platinum (also called California) package the lowermost sections below the lower chrome would be white on a white Summit w/ Platinum pkg and red on a red Summit w/ Platinum pkg.

Option is grayed out, could be a quirk in the system, not uncommon when order banks first open.

So just a glitch then. Not that it's unavailable or standard now for 15. That's what I needed to know.

Any way to find out for certain the questions I listed for the Summit Milous? Someone I can call at Jeep?

Interesting. My 08 is at Performance right now having the transmission rebuilt. Almost ready to pull the trigger on a 15, but still debating between the Limited or Overland. I'm on gravel every now and then and am worried the body colored trim on the Overland will be more prone to chips. Anyway, keep us posted on Eric and Baxter. Might have to give Woodhouse a ring?
