None of them will be completely perfect. I bought my 2012 Overland from Woodhouse, and was happy with my salesman (Brad B.) and recommended him to my parents. My mom called and talked to him two weeks ago and made it clear she would order on June 6th and she called again on June 5th, and he still hasn't called her back. And I went in to test drive a 2014 a year ago and he pushed me off on another salesman even though I had an appointment with him; he said his friend came in to buy a car and he was pushy and knew I would understand. Well, he was wrong; it was poor professionally to treat customers that way. My mom even knows Becky Pittack (owner of Woodhouse). Just shop Baxter against Woodhouse and buy from whoever you can get the best price from. They have serious competition against each other, so make sure to mention Woodhouse when you go to Baxter and Baxter when you go to Woodhouse. Not right away though and not if it isn't necessary to get a great price.

My last 2 Grand Cherokees came from Woodhouse, but when I stopped last year the salesman I got stuck with tried tell me what I wanted instead of listening to me. Tried telling me I didn't need the offroad package - whatever! Did a test drive, gave them my name, and never heard from them again. How good of a deal did you work out with Baxter?

Any opinion on Overland vs Limited? If I get the Limited, it will be about as loaded as they come. Cheaper than a comparable Overland, but I do like the body colored side mouldings.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I have 3 Jeep dealerships in my city. I went to all 3 of them, told them exactly what I want. They said that they would call me. Well, that never happened. I don't know what it is nowadays, but this is not a $20000 kia I'm trying to buy. What happened to customer service. Anyhow, I will end up buying through the Texas group buy in Houston. It's gonna be a long drive but so far the experience over the phone was good and nothing beats their price.

Question Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Am I missing something. It appears there is no difference between a 2014 Overland and a 2015 Overland. Same exterior and interior colors. Same options. How is one to notice the difference? Build date?

The VIN is about the only real indicator unless they introduce something down the road that is different or updated.

Great question, I was wondering the exact same thing. Now I'm really glad that I pulled the trigger on the 14, seeing as how I was never considering purchasing the Summit.

The only drawback I see is that 1 year from now, a 15 will have depreciated much less than a 14. I just did a quick check on comparable 13 and 14 Overlands, and the 14 is worth roughly $3700 more at this point.

So, if a dealer now has a 14 on the lot for the same price I can order a 15 for, I'm thinking I can wait for the new(er) one, unless loan rates are significantly different.

Yea but the 14 overland is a lot different from the 13 overland, so I can see why the 14 would be worth more in that respect... But I do see your point though. I'm just glad I didn't wait 6 to 8 months for something that is virtually the same

Good point. I have been waiting forever for a more off road capable version and am finally tired of waiting and ready to trade up from my 08. We'll see what kind of pricing and financing differences are between the 14 and 15 are and go from there.

Hey Milous,

A few people on DodgeDurango.net have been told the 2014 order banks are closed. Do you know what's going on? Or anyone else?

I'm hoping that I can get the ELSD on a WK2 without air suspension.
