While some of the 2015 increases may appear to be small vs the 2014 models, keep in mind that many 2014 prices were raised just a few weeks ago, a common trend - as they can advertise a smaller increase for the new 2015 models.

The best way to compare the increase is to compare prices at the start of the model year with prices at the start of the new model year. For example, the base price of the SRT went up $1,200. But since the price difference at the end of the '14 model year is only $15 difference from the 2015 model intro price, they can advertise/promote "little or no increase".
Thanks for the comments......I was checking the overland pricing, but your are correct (price was increased earlier). When would you expect Jeep to increase the new 2015 price?

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Stopped into the dealer today to ask about the DPF/injector issue. They said there was a reflash a while ago for this that fixed the problem. Said they had one customer who came in with 600 miles who went into limp mode. Said she's at 6-7k miles now and no further issues after the reflash.

Are people on this forum still having the issue after a reflash?

The premium sound should be an option on the Laredo a d standard on Limited. There was a lot they could have taken from the Limited and I wouldn't care but not the sound system. I still feel the Harmon Kardon system should be an option on more of the lineup. Ford neutered the Explorer, Chevy ditched the Trail Blazer, and the Durango sits too low. I was looking for something with the capabilities of SUVs when they we're SUVs. Jeep makes the only one and they are ruining what they have. I feel that this whole upscale movement that all the manufacturers are making is stupid. I hate that everything is becoming about status. **** status. I want a off road capable SUV with a few nice things like the 8.4AN and premium sound. I don't even want leather or heated seats. Basically if they still optioned the Laredo like they used to I would be looking at that.
Sounds like you want a vehicle spec'd to your custom desires.

For me, I actually like all of the bells & whistles now offered on the WK2. I had a 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner & they lost me has a customer when they basically dropped all of the higher end features to try & give the appearance of a "truly offroad capable SUV" in the 5th Gens.

In this day & age, there is no reason a feature packed SUV also can't be capable On Road as well as Off Road. Very few vehicles manage to do that these days & the Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of them.

Are people on this forum still having the issue after a reflash?

Does this reflash also resolve the unskid protected issue for the DEF tubing in the off road package?

Or is this an additional DEF related issue on Overlands we were unaware about?

Indeed. Maybe oil changes and brake jobs can also be performed via reflash by that dealer.

From what I have read on the forum, is there was a problem with the system thinking the filter was clogged and needed to regen, but it wouldn't. This was causing limp mode and possibly leaving people stranded. I imagine this is what the reflash was for. I doubt he told me there was a reflash when there was not really one regarding the DPF/Injector. So if this is a separate problem, then I guess that's the case.

As for a line being unprotected.... Put a "skid plate" over it and be done. A forum member is making them if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you! Is there a link available to the custom skid plate and any feedback on its track record resolving this once and for all?
