Your other option for a more aggressive tire is to get the 18 inch rims so hou can get a stock diameter tire that has a decent tread pattern. My dad has this issue with his Durango that has 20 inch rims on it. It handles well but is crap in the rain and snow.
Gotcha..thank you very much for the insight!

Don't fret the 20's in NEO because of the weather.
Interesting..it sounds like a better tire on the 20" wheels would be the answer for me.
Thanks for the info, I really like this forum!

It's funny how your status keeps jumping around. I guess I should be thankful that I am in D1. But I'm ready for E/F/G.

I might do that the next Jeep I get (DC-MIA). Sounds like a fun adventure.

Was fun.....def get a sleeper since it is an overnight ride. Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL. The ONLY auto train in the U.S. and apparently the longest Amtrak route too. What I learned too was that they get booked North to South in Nov-Jan and South to North in April-May .... TONS of elderly snowbirds use it .... One of the conductors gave me the inside scoop.

Upon arrival at Sanford, VA the waiting area was PACKED full of very elderly people taking it to go home up north. On the way down it was maybe 25% full. Prices go way up too so time it right.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Dealers around here say they can't order a 2015 diesel because they cannot get the invoice prices on the Chrysler order site. I can understand that the diesel orders are not being accepted but it would seem with the price data Milous posted that the vehicle can be priced out for a deal. Those of you who have ordered 2015s, is there any difference between the numbers posted earlier and what your dealer is using for your deal? If you squeaked in a diesel GC order where the numbers the same as we saw in June? Anybody been able to order a diesel in the last week or so?

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

For many dealers, if they can't actually enter the order into the computer system, they will not consider it an order. Some will "make a provisional deal" using whatever available information is able to be captured, but may say that it's subject to change if prices change, etc.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Have spoken to several dealers in different parts of the country about a 2015 diesel order. All say they can't do it for now and don't know when they can. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a 2014 left with what I want. Good thing I'm able to wait!
