I think it was perfecting "brake feel" to meet the SRT standards was the reason for the delay.

Although I have gotten over it... Do you think it can be added via software to a 10/2013 built WK2 SRT. I wonder if they added the hardware...

We know for sure that they changed the build on later Grand Cherokee that were not SRT. It was definitely a part change in involving a few components and we know that cannot be changed easily. My assumption would be that the same would apply to the SRT however Milous is probably the best person to confirm that.

Yes, the Bosch unit and other things were changed. There is a thread on here by F1fanatic trying to update his and others. See here for all of his fun:

@willix & @snuke

Understood, I guess the question is if they changed the hardware in the SRT when the other WK2 models were changed over and just didn't program it in. If so it may be possible...

I don't think so because the only reason they didn't implement it on the SRT is they didn't have an ABS module with the correct "feel". The feel is more a mechanical thing than programming in this case.

Dude, you have so seriously NOT missed anything yet.

About the only thing different that's related to JNAP is the absence of a huge Ram 1500, and increased tension around the entire plant due to Marchionne's big mouth.

The 2015s are just 2014s with two or three additional features for the Summit.

Marlon - hopefully Marchionnes's opens his big mouth and kicks in an extra 15hp like he did for the Chall SRT. Can I get a hell yeah to that

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Do we think the 2015's will include the lane keep system like on the Cherokee KL's with the advance tech package? I suppose only the V6 uses an electronic Power Steering unit so that's a little bit of a problem...

If that stuff we drank when shooting ping-pong balls into red Solo cups can seriously be classified as beer, then sure, taste just like THAT beer. Otherwise, not so much... Just taste like crap. Not that I'd know what crap tastes like. #notthatkinky
