The vehicle is noisy, so just deal with it....Let's see the value of the improvements.

Bummer. Seemed like this time last year they were gearing up for a big TH2 announcement then...nothing...

I guess holding out hope any longer is futile!

You wanna know why it's noisy? They changed the aerodynamics and increased drag by removing the flipper glass. This resulted in the positive increase in the flux response from the Stokes/Bassett equation.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I love my14, I feel like jeep is making a mistake with the summit, treating there core, loyal off road loving customers like second class citizens. The Overland should be the top of the line, with all summit features plus the off road package! But that's just me.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Stopped by my dealer today to check out a Granite 2015 Limited and lo & behold no more dual exhaust. That is a deal-breaker for me. Even an Escape 4-cylinder has dual exhaust. Must be the Fiat bean-counters in action at Chrysler.

I would consider an Altitude (really don't like the blacked-out look, but really like the suede seat inserts), but I can't get the backup camera or RA4 nav from the factory (yes, I know about the dealer-add RA3 nav).

Not much a fan of the black headliner material carried over from the 2014 model either. Much prefer the light grey in my 2012.

So it looks like I try to get another few years out of my 2012 and hope the 2016-17 major redesign is an improvement.

Yes to the backup camera but it's a no-go on the RA4.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I love the blacked out look but you can't get it with a diesel.

Yes, I agree they are going soft...getting away from their roots.

They should have a fancy model with chrome and lame colors but they also need to have an option for those who want their GC to be more like a truck than a cushy station wagon with a lift kit.

They were headed down a pretty good "trail" when they built the GC Trailhawk a few years ago but they passed the name and idea to the KL Cherokee. I see that TH is also now a version of the little Renegade so hopefully they will bring it back for the WK 2. I'd like to see a cheaper version than the $44k.

Isn't that what the Limited is all about? Cladding on the outside, diesel, etc. more off road without all those soft cushy things like panoramic roof, air suspension, fancy leather, etc. and other soft stuff that the highway cruising trailer towing customer is after. Jeep would say get the 4 door Wrangler if you want rough and ready.
