I would consider an Altitude (really don't like the blacked-out look, but really like the suede seat inserts), but I can't get the backup camera or RA4 nav from the factory (yes, I know about the dealer-add RA3 nav).

Not much a fan of the black headliner material carried over from the 2014 model either. Much prefer the light grey in my 2012.

So it looks like I try to get another few years out of my 2012 and hope the 2016-17 major redesign is an improvement.
Justal13 - What engine did that single exhaust 2015 Limited have?

Jeep would say get the 4 door Wrangler if you want rough and ready.
Im guessing its a market segmentation thing, seems to me the Altitude hits the millennials better, dunno.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So i picked up my factory ordered 2015 Overland V8 with tech, ORAII, and RES. Very nice ride so far with only a few minor issues at this point. The biggest one, is I was about 100 miles away from the dealer when I realized for sure that the alignment was definitely off and pulling to the left pretty bad. My understanding is this can happen fairly easily during transport but was still disappointing. I also had the sunroof act up and thought I heard a bad crunch and it wouldn't close. But today it has opened and closed without any problems so I'm not sure. The top of my spoiler is significantly scuffed and some of the windows seals were bent into the trim (minor stuff).

Now all that out of the way, the truck is awesome. What an upgrade from an 2002 Liberty Ltd. As far as the 2015 model as opposed to a 2014, like already has been said in this thread, there is no real differences that I could tell between the two model years. There was no manual with mine, only a user guide. Unless the dealer just didn't give it to me.

I will be posting a new thread with a very detailed review with lots more info, impressions, and details in the coming days.

- Definitely check your tire pressures...they over inflate during storage and transport and your tires may be off causing the pull to the left.

- I'd check the sunroof to make sure no shipping material was left in place and got wedged into anything.

- Dunno about the scuff and the window seals....got photos?

Enjoy the new GC....and yes, a HUGE HUGE HUGE step up from a 2002 Liberty Ltd...

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Anyone know how much time I should expect to wait for a 2015 Diesel custom order once production starts back up? Are we talking 8 weeks? 12 weeks? Or more? Would I be better off waiting for some to show up at local dealers? I just want a Granite Summit with no other options.

I agree, my 14 Summit is as quiet inside as a Lexus LS I owned. The problem with the phone is the bluetooth system either on the phone end or the Uconnect system.

IMHO, its the noise suppression sensitivity of the in vehicle microphone. Kind of like what made the Jawbone Prime Bluetooth piece so good.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So I'm going to check out a 2015 Limited because the online quotes I got back from dealers had the 2014 model beat by a substantial sum. But, from what I've been reading, it does not appear to be as well equipped as the 2014 model. Correct me if Im wrong, but the 2015 Limited comes standard with the same stereo as the Laredo and doesnt have dual exhaust? Not a fan of these changes. Debating whether or not that is a deal breaker for me.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Sorry for posting back-to-back, but does anyone know if they brought back the flip up rear glass? Edmunds.com has it listed as a feature of the Limited ("Lift Gate Window: Flip-up") Thats actually a super-useful feature for my wife and I
