Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Any word on if there will be more options available for the Altitude?

1. Nav
2. Rear Backup camera
3. HID/LED lights
4. QT2

A black out package for the Limited would work as well.

Your post should say "Any word on if the Altitude package will continue until model year 2015?"

You could get all of those options had the Altitude been based on the Limited instead of the Laredo.

No, it appears from the first page that the Altitude will continue. I was just hoping that MY15 would see new options available to the Laredo line.

They'd better correct that, SRT does NOT include ACC/with Stop. And it's not listed for the 2015 model year either.

2015 Challenger 5.7L/6.4L models will have electric steering, not sure when they will implement it into the Jeep models.

[QUOTE=Milous;1028283]Nope...

Is that a nope for all the newer 2015/2016 Chrysler safety tech mentioned in the earlier unofficial 2015 GC thread? ACC/stop, modern collision brake precharge, and lane departure stuff?

My wife will force a Volvo as our family hauler! I was so close to finally getting a GC... Ford Edge in 2012, Volvo in 2014. Will certainly try again in 2017 .

Correct, none of those features are listed for the 2015 model year.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Disappointing for family folks looking for safety features. Also a bit silly if they roll those safety features into the 2016 only to launch the redesign in 2017. Chrysler must be happy with the status quo of decent 2014 model sales. I was hoping they would try a bit harder though.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

As long as they figure something out to solve the DEF-injector design-fiasco for MY15 on the diesel, I'm happy.

Edit - oops, looks like this is all about the global sales column of that chart, which I congratulate.
