Near as I can tell the 2015 Overland 4x4 is the same as the late 2014's. Just took delivery of mine yesterday afternoon. Cruised around a bit last night, I'm likin' it !

You are correct.

There were absolutely No Changes to the 2015 Overland compared to the 2014.

For others, this change may apply to you. Paint color changes posted by Milous earlier in thread. All but the Auburn (Summit only) affect all trims.

The following Wk2 exterior colors are being discontinued:

(Dates listed are last day of production. *Estimated* last date to order = early October)

Cashmere Pearl Coat (11/21/2014)
Deep Auburn Pearl Coat (11/21/2014)
Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat (12/05/2014)
Black Forest Green Pearl (11/21/2014)

Replacement colors will be announced at a later date.

There colors must not have been as popular as the others.... I liked the Deep Auburn but wanted to go with a light color this time so didn't choose it. The Black Forest Green is nice too.

Prediction: A new color for each of these.

Cashmere Pearl Coat - To a more champaign color like the old White Gold.
Deep Auburn Pearl Coat - To more like the old Rugged Brown (or more "copper" like the the vehicle in the Evoque commercial with the dog and lost scarf).
Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat - To a more red color like the old Inferno Red.
Black Forest Green Pearl - To a tad lighter shade more like the old Natural Green.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Cashmere, Auburn and black forest didn't appear to be too popular based on my eyeballs (although the Black Forest Green is hard to actually tell from black in many light situations), but Deep Cherry Red is all over the road. I'm sure they have a replacement for that...red is essential.

I agree with Jim that those three colors don't seem to be very popular based upon those I see on the road. Glad I got my Auburn Pearl coat while I had the opportunity. Everyone who sees it loves it, but each to their own I guess.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'll add that even though some colors don't float a lot of folks' boats, it's still nice that they were offered because there have been folks who have bought a JGC "because" of a color like Cashmere, for example. The Winter Chill I have wasn't popular and while it wouldn't have been my first...or second...or third...choice, it was at least a light color, something I require. At the time of my purchase, it was the only light color available on the Summit. My wish is for more variety..."50 shades of grey" in a single vehicle platform is a bit boring to me, personally...

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Brand new member here
Picked up my 2015 Limited a couple days ago and so far so good (Backup cam did get stuck on for a bit yesterday but turning off the car for a few minutes and restarting it was back to normal, hopefully just a glitch), i knew i was going to get a new GC Limited w/Luxory II package for months but color schemes was tough to choose, but every time I hit the dealers to look over their stock White always grabbed my eyes so that's what I went with w/Light Frost Beige/Black interior.. No dealers locally had one like I wanted (or any 2015s for that matter) so they had to get one brought up from Philadelphia..
When I sold my old Vette in the spring I thought my online forum days were over, sure glad I came across this one!!

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I just got back from the dealer about 2 hours ago with my 2015 Limited (black/black). Only have about 35 miles on it so far, but I've loved every second of it! The only upgrades in my vehicle are the 8.4 Uconnect and the factory tow hitch (added after purchase, so not a true Tow Package IV). I thought I was going to absolutely hate the stereo since it is downgraded from the 2014's stock 9 speaker amplified system, but its not incredibly terrible. Definitely tolerable until I can convince the wife its worth spending $1200+ on an upgrade. Glad to finally be in the WK2 club!

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Yea I was pretty surprised myself how decent the stock 6 speaker system sounds. Not bad and wayyyyyyy better than most standard factory audio systems I've heard in the past! Blows away the stock system in my 5 series and 3 series bmw's
