So far, since I have worked there, my absolute favorite combination is the 2011's 70th anniversary bronze and black interior. I haven't seen anything else to match it since. Very, VERY CLOSE 2nd place is Deep Auburn Pearl with black interior.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm liking the Deep Auburn Pearl a lot more these days after seeing it person, but me being me, I'd want a lighter color interior. Black and dark brown just don't "float my boat"...

It will certainly be interesting to see if Jeep takes advantage of the new paint system and broadens the options in coming years, including making available some colors that might not be "large volume choices", but appealing to enough folks to make it work. That orange from the MY2013 Trailhawk II concept, for example...

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

As most of you are aware, Fiat has an aggressive plan for GLOBAL GROWTH of the Jeep brand...taking the Jeep brand to a level Chrysler never really reached for. That means they will be investing in the Jeep brand including production facilities to remain state of the art to meet consumer needs. Installation of the this new paint system is great and should result in new color choices along with significant enhancements of the current colors. Jeep is on a decade+ long plan for global growth.

I haven't looked into the Fiat brand, but I would bet that what Fiat had done to globally grow their Fiat brand will be similar to their plans for global growth of the Jeep brand...are they allowing more and more color choices and option choices for customization with Fiats? The Grand Cherokee has seven trim levels now --- Laredo E, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, SRT, SRT Red Vapor. It seems that more trim levels, more color choices and more option choices are on the way.

There is a lot of hope for Jeep and I am sure they are aware of the need to fix the "dealership experience" (very inconsistent from one dealership to another) in the U.S. which won't be easy to do.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I would have liked to option the Altitude to the level of the Overland. We were bummed we couldn't get the exterior to look that way and not be able to get all the inside goodies.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Lately, the build option will allow ORAII (with rear ELSD) to be ordered with the 3.6L Pentastar. In the past, that seemed to be only available with the 5.7L Hemi and the 3.0L diesel. Am I not reading this correctly? Is it a glitch on the build website? Or, am I just late to the game and everyone else already knows that the 2015 Summit can actually be ordered with the 3.6L and rear ELSD?
Thank you.

You might be onto something but realize that just because you can configure on jeep.com doesn't mean the dealer can actually order that in Mr. Computer.

Anyone?

Actually, it lets you think you can but when you actually finalize your clicks it is not to be. If you click on the info button for ORAll you'll see that next to the QDll/ELSD description it says, "Unavailable with some configurations". When you select it, sticking with the V6, and go back into the info button for it you'll see it has removed the description of the QDll/ELSD as it is not available without the V8/Diesel.

QDll/ELSD remain an Overland V8/Diesel option and standard with any Summit V8/Diesel. Cannot get on Limited and down no matter the config.
