2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

Why eliminate the power driver seat and auto dim rear view? I'm thinking they will be standard options and just not listed anymore.

That seems likely.

NOTE: Jeep seems to have some discrepancies in their ordering system, as the list of Altitude features is different in some areas than in others. Hopefully this will be corrected late next week when the April guides are released. I will report back here at that time.

Do you expect anything different from the current altitude?

Where the April guides released this week or are they looking to be for next week? WK2 JEEPS is now showing an updated package listing for the Altitude III. I made a side by side comparison of the 2014/15 vs. 2015 III. Some features are new while other features are now missing:

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

Does anyone know what this "BLACK ROOF MOLDING (MW8)" would be? I am curious if it's something I may wish to order in the the future to put on my Summit, also the "DARK LENS TAILLAMPS (LD1)" seems like it would be cool too.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

Hopefully the guides will clear this up soon.

As it stands now, Jeep has added Black Roof Molding, Dark Lens Taillamps, and Black Bezels. All minor cosmetic changes and that's no surprise given that is kinda the point of the Altitude.

Jeep has removed All season tires, Grey Satin Gloss Taillamps (replaced with Dark Lens), and some other listed features (Power Driver Seat, Roadside Assistance/911, Rearview Mirror with Microphone, Satellite Radio, Uconnect Access) that most folks think will simply be standard features and included in the III.

So really the III seems to be adding more black to various parts of the vehicle, and adding a jump to the price tag.

I was hoping for the pano sunroof. Oh well. I would really love to get some more information though.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

I took this photo at NYIAS today. It looks like the black SRT type bezels are now standard. It was really the only difference I noticed from my 2015 Altitude. The female working the Jeep section had no clue what I was talking about when I asked her about it. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1428892296.409738.jpg

The lenses on the lights look darker than the regular red ones in that picture. Are those darker plastic lenses too?

They look like the SRT rear lights. Black bezels with the darker SRT lenses.

They look great IMO, would love a set on the Blackhawk

See this is what I am talking about

Dark lens on SRT:

Regular red lens on 14-15 altitude

Definitely like the dark lens look better

The one you posted from the auto show has the dark lenses as well as the black tail lamp bezels

Did you notice if the window trim was updated to black or is it still chrome?

I didn't realize the SRT already had a darker lens. I agree, it does look better.
