Re: 2015 leftover deals

Wonder what the deals will be on the 2015's going into May.
I have been looking for a limited with the Lux II package as i don't know if I trust the air suspension of the Overlands. Seem like they are taking off about 7,500 around here in MA on the GC now.

The wife is pushing for a Toyota highlander as she is worried about reliability and we keep our cars for 8-10 years. I need to replace my Buick Enclave with a busted transmission at 124k

We had a 2015 Toyota Highlander Platinum. Nice vehicle! It didn't fit our family very well with the second row captains chairs though (even though they were super comfy and roomy), with 3 kids under 5 now it just wasn't gonna work right. If the third row had to go up there was little to no room in the back for anything. We now have a Honda Odyssey which is great.
For what its worth though I have had a lot of Grand Cherokees throughout the years and literally no issues with any of them. Very solid vehicles and I enjoyed all of them. The looks of the newer Highlander IMO isn't the the greatest, but its not bad. It does lack some features that I think a vehicle in its price point should have. The Grand Cherokee is for sure the better looking of the bunch inside and out. I was kind of in the same boat as you guys. I preferred my wife to have either the Toyota or Honda just so I never had to think about it. I have the newer High Altitude because if any problem should arise its not a big deal to me...With that said thought my Jeeps have all been excellent. Love'em!
I don't think you could go wrong either way.

Same issue. I'd prefer a 4Runner but the gf likes the GC. IMO $7500 isn't enough of a discount because it's not like these things sell at full price to begin with. I'm waiting it out.

Re: 2015 leftover deals

I have another car to use for the month of May so I will wait it out a little longer as well.
I really agree the GC is much better looking than the highlander which does nothing for me. It seems more like an appliance than a fun car that makes me look forward to driving it.
We had the base GC as a rental when we were in Yellowstone last summer which I discovered how nice it was and it fit the family pretty well.
I have 2 kids 7 & 10. I don't really need the 3 row but it is nice to have occasionally.

If I can't get a smoking deal on the GC, Highlander here I come.

Re: 2015 leftover deals

One of my work colleagues just asked me to help him shop for a GC. He lives in Cali and I'm in texas but I told him I would talk to the dealership I bought mine from since I got such a great deal.

Anyone know of a dealership in Cali that I can call up for him? He's looking to be 35k OTD for a limited 4x4 (if that's possible). Otherwise we'll have to get it shipped from texas to Cali

Re: 2015 leftover deals

A well equipped Highlander isn't an inexpensive vehicle, either...

Here's a Summit for $39k. I image he could use that as leverage on another Cali dealer to hammer down a Limited

Where in California - NorCal or SoCal? I'm up in the Bay Area and could recommend a dealer or two here.

Yep I've been eyeballing that deal for a few weeks even though I just bought my 2015 last July. That thing is actually selling new for about what mine is valued at with nearly 12,000 miles! Crazy! They also have a Hemi for under $45K which is insane too.

I bought my Overland with ACC for 39k (excluding TTL). That Summit is cheaper which is blowing my mind.

I could sell the Overland, probably get 35, and then upgrade to the summit. The thought has crossed my mind a few times. Wish that deal was around when I was shopping
