We've been thinking of a '14 CPO WK2, but I'm interested in what kinds of deals people have been getting on '15 leftovers. There seem to be a ton of them out there and '16s are starting to roll in. Lease or buy, what's your specification and what'd you wind up paying? Thanks!

At this point in the year I don't believe there will be any lease numbers on a 2015 and if there they more than likely would be very unfavorable. Your best bet would be to purchase one and I'm sure a good deal can be had if you negotiate.

I think you should be able to find some pretty good deals on a 2015. I'm not sure what model you are interested in, but to give you an idea here is what I got on my purchases. I purchased a 2014 Summit V8 which would have been considered a leftover as very few 2014s remained at the time. MSRP was $55,880, I paid $47,000. That's just shy of 9 grand off MSRP!!

My more recent purchase was a 2015 High Altitude V6 with HK audio. It wouldn't be considered a leftover as when I purchased it the 2016 models weren't even on the lots yet, but MSRP is $50,800, I paid $44,600. So $6200 off MSRP. Those are the negotiated prices, so add any fees and taxes ontop of that. These are purchases, I did not lease.

I just bought a '16 2 weeks ago. I was buying at employee/family price which is 5% below invoice + rebates. Rebate on a '15 was $1500, and rebates on '16 was $1000. I was not seeing very much reduction at all for leftover '15's and the price delta between a '15 vs '16 was <$2000. For me, it made more sense to go ahead with a '16.

Now I see they've upped the rebate to $2500 on '15's so you may be able to get enough more from the dealer to start to swing it the other way. Remember you will lose that much more depreciation right off the bat with the older MY15, and your selection of available colors/options might be limited. But if you can find what you're looking for, and plan to keep for a long time, then neither of those barriers matter as much.

Shop on the last day of the month, be ready to sign and you will have your best leverage. And hit the volume dealers.

I got $7600 off my 2015 HA which I purchased in late January, V6 with HA. $500 of that was the jeep bonus cash postcard ingot in the mail. No extra dealer adds either.

thanks for all the feedback guys. Sounds like deals are a lot easier to come by than I'd imagined. I hadn't been able to find a jeep dealer advertising discounts whereas I see Ford and GMC dealers advertising big discounts regularly, plus I know from when I bought my JKU they don't discount those much, so I was thinking maybe they don't discount the GC much either.

When i got mine $7600 off, some dealers said they could only do $4000 off and complained they were losing money. The high volume dealers should be able to give you the best pricing. I had to drive a couple hours away to another state to get my deal.

Some dealers have MY15 stock; some do not. Jeep doesn't force inventory...everything is sold...so what's left-over is due to dealers ordering expected run-rate and not reaching that goal. If you can negotiate a great deal on a MY15, go for it, but don't overlook MY16, either. You may be able to get just as good a deal on the newer version, depending on the dealer you work with. The Koons deal available in our sponsor area is 7% off invoice less any available incentives plus a processing fee.

Jim- is that 7% off invoice always available or does it change based on MY? Sorry not trying to hijack this thread OP.

You'll be hard pressed to find a new MY15 in June...MY16 will be out of production at that point, too. The deals for JGC between model years don't vary all that much, so I'm sure you'll be able to find something nice regardless of the model year it's part of.

I have my eye on two Summits. If I can do a no cash deal and keep my payment the same on either of them (two different dealers) I'll be very tempted. I've watched TrueCar values go down considerably over the past month.

I have a couple of questions though. I would like to swap the tires out to Michelin Defender's. What's the dealer's cost or issues in doing this? I'd also like to get a 100k or lifetime Maxcare policy. What's the best way to negotiate and what should I know before talking to a salesman?

I can't speak to the tires but I just purchased a 2016 limited with lux package and Nav. I decided to add the lifetime maxcare because I keep my cars for a long time. I couldn't get them to a price as low as Ziegler online quote but by purchasing it through the dealer I was able to roll it into my loan. I paid approx. $2,800 for lifetime ($100 deductible).

I just saw a jeep commercial that is listing $2000 cash allowance for all 2015's. Looks like theyre really trying to move the 2015 so now might be the best time to purchase.

The jeep website is showing 0% for 60 months OR $2000 cash allowance.

you should find excellent deal specially on the higher end trim levels

I got my HEMI 2014 Overland in Oct. 2015 with a discount of $10,669

so I think you will find excellent deals.
the limited was discounted around $8000ish same 5.7 engine
I converted the values to US Dollar

good luck shopping
PS. My dealer is in Dubai, Mopar official dealer

I don't know how good of a deal I got, but I feel it was decent. I picked up 15' Laredo 4WD, tow package, 18" wheels and big Uconnect screen. The price was 32K. I added the factory back-up camera before picking it up. After dealer fee's, I paid just over 33K OTD. I thought about getting a higher model, but this is all I really need. I plan doing HID kit, and aftermarket leather interior.

I traded my 2012 Overland V8 5.7L Hemi (without ACC) with 48,500 miles for $29,000 back in November. It didn't have a scratch on the outside, and the carpet was pristine condition too. They still haven't sold it snd their asking $32,400, down $1,100 from what they initially were asking.
