Am surprised they ever put duals on the Pentastar, an even fire street six gets more scavaging from a single pipe. OTOH a single rear facia may have been lower cost than a splitter and a few feet of pipe.
You could also decost about as much by making the cat back exhaust and fascia exactly the same on as many models as possible. Variety in offerings tends to cost more than just standardizing.

Not sure what the new model higher than the Summit would become.... there was a time when the Overland was the top model.

Those misaligned panels are part of their fellow manufacturer, Ferrari, traditional heritage. At least nobody is putting tin cans full of marbles in the rear fenders yet.

Nope. Cost reduction IS profit improvement. Always has been, always will be.

Everyone knows that.

Our company calls it maximizing shareholder value.

Trail Rated Dodge Darts... yeah... thats the ticket.
Great idea, the dealers therefore could offer Limited "Overchromers" body colored mirrors and door handles and sell the chromes ones for a profit to the deprived Laredo takers looking for an status upgrade, deal

Re: 2015 Limited V6 loses dual exhaust

Anyone want to take a guess at what it would cost to have dual exhaust installed aftermarket? I really dont like the look of the single exhaust but I'm picking up my '15 Limited on Tuesday and its not a deal breaker for me. I would love to have a dual if possible though

Re: 2015 Limited V6 loses dual exhaust

Getting back to the OP statement, I thought all WK2 V6's had single exhaust (except diesel). I know the 2011 -2013 did.

I think it was Limited and up for the '14s that have dual exhaust.

Yup, the 2014 Limited had dual exhaust. I hate that they cut it from the 15s

You could put a split cat back Gibson on there for 3-400 bucks from J C Whitney.
Looks like a full system would be a bit over a grand, but this is for the 14...

Admittedly, I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff. Since there have been so many issues with the electronics of these vehicles, would I have to take any precautions if I were to change out the exhaust?
