Probably was ordered and in the build stream before they constrained things.

Thanks a ton for the link!

Not liking that look at all with the DCR, but I'm glad that I've now seen it.

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

I was excited about the platinum group but now after seeing pics I would not do it - even if a no cost option. But I would need to see in person just in case the pics do not do it justice. The wheels look cheap in the pics -are they better in person?

Have seen a black and a white Summit with the platinum group and they do not look any better in person. The trim and especially the wheels look very dull.

I agree i was excited for it but now disapointed but i want to see in person as that can make a difference. I thought the body colored skirting was going to make it look good but now i dont like it, it makes the strips of Chrome stand out more regardless if they are brushed or not. makes that thin line of chrome look a little strange on the side like that. wheels just have a dull look, going with a darker color may have been better. will wait to see in person

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Well the ONLY upside I can see is that there is LESS Chrome to now have painted.

Why Jeep doesn't offer a HIGH END package that removes all of the chrome like what is available on the Durango's is beyond me.

A Color Matched oreven Blacked Out Vehicle looks MUCH BETTER then these Chrome covered things!

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

That would be nice if Jeep offered a no-chrome version for people with that preference. I, however, would not label it as "high-end". I like chrome and chrome does not make a vehicle less "high-end". Just sayin!

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

I have already accepted it.. I'm just gonna have to pay a lil bit more to get it exactly how i want.. Those rims and tires are going.. the chrome is either going to be black., black chrome or painted to match the body color depending on the piece..fix it my self and have it original from everyone else.. I'm happy with that

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Dont get me wrong normally i dont like a lot of chrome but i have grown to like and accept what is on the Summit, it is fine. The Platnum package does not look bad it looks ok also just not all that much different from what it was though. What disappoints me is that if they were coming out with a package for those that dont want a lot of chrome they should have done just that not just run a little steel wool over the existing chrome and called it a new packackage. The mirrors and the door handles were a good start they should have keep going with that style of thinking. Its not bad looking they just could have done more with it for that $1000
