( should of been my initial sign) got the info about the koons group buy and just asked for summit to see the price difference.. Smh got the $4000.00 cheaper price and just jumped for it.. The overland you suggested is missing the rear blu ray package but christ its $9000.00 cheaper then my summit and ill probably spend the same amount regardless on the exterior to get it how i want it or maybe cheaper if i get the Rims straight from factory the way i want.. It feels like a no brainer but im still torn about the HK system and blu ray.. Wish they let you do something custom from the dealer being your ordering it.. Smh not like your asking for something they dont carry..

If you want to change your order, you could just ask. The worst they can say is "no".

You could also order a 2015 Overland with the Rear Blu-Ray if you decide you want that more. It would sticker around $54,000, and you would get it for something like $46,000-$47,000 with the group buy pricing (I didn't do the math, just guessing).

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

Well Saturday, despite their online inventory showing they had two 2015 Summits in Granite, a local dealership only had a black 2015 Summit. But it did have the "California Appearance Package".

I really wasn't impressed at all. In bright sunlight the new low luster pieces just look cheaper then the regular chrome. The added color matched pieces were nice.

And THEN I happen to see a 2014 Granite Summit with the regular Chrome Saturday night...

WOW!

The Chrome pieces looked Amazing! In fact, they looked more like Black or Darkened Chrome. They really made the whole vehicle look seriously upper scale. So now I doubt I'll be getting the "Appearance" package.

I'll try to get back to that dealership (Tutle Click Jeep in Irvine California) to snap a few pictures.

After all of the whining about no chrome deletion package, you LIKE the chrome?!?!?!

Let us know what you end up ordering.

That's weird. They look even more upscale to me. I literally can't stop looking at them!

NO...

I still don't "like" the chrome. But IF it has to be there, I prefer the "shiny" stuff over the dull stuff.

Is the LED strip on the drivers side headlight not on? Pic looks as if passenger side light is on and driver's side isn't.

Do you have a side/profile shot showing the window trim pieces that they left chromed? Do they stand out? Mine are a dull chrome anyway not nearly as shiny as the the other chromed pieces, may be because the window trim is metal and and pretty sure every other chrome piece is plastic.

Just curious if the window trim looks odd not being officially satin.

I do but they aren't very good as it was dark. Will see if I can get a better shot tonight.
